      @Swove2204  5 років тому +66

      Yes. The confusion seemed to stem from the change of rules between the 2002 and 2003 competition. Stojakovic was involved in a tie-breaker in 2002 as well, only that one lasted just 24 seconds. In 2003, the buzzer still sounded at 24 seconds, leading Stojakovic to believe his round was over, even though it was supposed to be a minute. The NBA decided it'd only be fair to re-do the round on account of their own mistake.

    With the way the 3-point contest is set up now with extra time and money balls, today's players would hit 7 and 8 points under this format

      erera13 The buzzer sounded too early and Peja thought his round was over which ruined his flow so they let him go again.

    The Sacramento Kings are the real champs of 2002. David Stern fixed that series but it's one thing for the Lakers to be disappointed with league assistance to win, But the Lakers instead flexed their muscles when the phantom calls were being made and fully embracing the league assistance like cowards.
    Players that did steroids in baseball have higher integrity than the 2002 lakers. Because getting the game called for you is the lowest

      Two of the best shooters in the history of the sport that originated in the Balkans, they were both known to train shooting like madmen, firing hundreds of shots even after regular training.
