ive been watching your videos and love the places you show. especially Dadar market. now this is just my opinion about leather. these products in the shop dont show how these bags are made. Extreme levels of cruelty to animals make these bags. Male calves are not needed in dairy industry. As soon as a male calf is born it is taken away from its mother and literally "Dumped" in containers to send for slaughter. Newborn calves are "shoved" into these containers without a care. they break their bones break their necks and "Fill " the containers with as many calves as they can. These babies have not even tasted their mothers milk and even the umbilical cord is still hanging on its belly. they are slaughtered in 1000's !! same with aged animals. They never get a dignified death. Once they cannot get pregnant and cannot give any more milk, they are euthanized with a shotgun to their brain. these are then sent for slaughter for beef and leather. I request you with folded hands - Please dont promote leather goods. If you do believe in Karma and consider cattle as God please dont promote leather items. these people lie that they take leather only from animals that are already dead. animals dont die a natural death in 1000's !!! cattle can survive for over 30 years if taken care of properly as they do in villages. If you want to know the truth about leather please visit the Deonar Abbatoir or even a slaughterhouse in Dharavi where calves are sent in truckloads !! you will never sleep in peace !!
its horrifying how these animals are tied up upside down, helpless to defend themselves and beheaded with electric blades !! and the animal is "Watching the blade coming to its neck being fully conscious" !! Its a request - please dont ever promote leather or any animal product as "cheap" or beautiful. its very demeaning to the life of the animal. No life is any less important than our own lives.
