I'm a 41yo gym rat. Been lifting since 15. I started following you about a year back. And though I still cheat (don't stretch) at times. My quality of life has increased so much by just following some of your advice. I play better with my kids, I don't wake up stiff as a plank and just feel better over all! I sincerely hope you can get enough subs/views to make money on this. You deserve it! Much love from Sweden! ❤
I’ve had so much pain in my body for most my life and when I decided to try stretching It changed my life forever. I believe everyone should stretch daily, it’ll save you a lot of suffering
You always have and will my respect and love, David! Thanks for everything.I'm a teen and I'm working out since summwr 2023. Flexibility was my weak point and i was weak in general, but thanks to you, i now can even touch the floor with my palms during hamstring stretch and go way further!!! Keep up, i love your content, mindset and positivity!!! ❤
I've always been able to do this, and can still do it at age 54. While I do stretch fairly regularly, increased mobility has never been my goal or reason for stretching. For me it's pain relief. If I don't stretch, tension gradually builds up in a body part, which eventually turns into a mild pain. To relieve the pain, I stretch. I'm glad to enter into old age with this habit that keeps me flexible and mobile.
I've been doing this inspired by your first short on that warm up movement, and it has genuinely helped so much! My hands used to barely get past my knees, and now I can touch my toes with only a slight bend in the knees! I recently started taking pictures and my legs are getting straighter and straighter every day when I attempt to touch my toes!
I started watching you a few weeks ago from a reel I saw and started doing stretches everyday and Holy crap the results already are wild. I've had chronically thigh hamstrings since I was a kid and this is finally an easy way I can manage it
Love this! I started stretching before & after EVERY workout. My stretching routine is about 5 mins and I do it 5 times a week x2 (before/after each gym session) and I feel great. I can move more freely and easily and just overall I’ve improved my mobility. I can hug my legs bending over and can place my palms flat on the floor. Before I could barely reach past my calves/ankles. It’s therapeutic for me now and I look forward to it 😃👍🏼
Just got that 5x Baseline E- book. Im a wrestling coach just trying to keep up with these kids! Also going to have my wife do it with me. Im hoping some of this will help with her mid back pain. Thanks for creating this stuff!
I always get excited when you upload, I've been doing the small stretches for ankles you showed and I'm no where near your level of flexibility but I definitely do feel the deference
i am glad i found this channel. got into dance recently (voguing) and my movements always fall short to the others due to my lack of flexibility. i think your content can help bring me up to standard. wish me luck
Hey David! Do you have a name/title for your fan base? Some ideas: - StayFlexy Fanatics ? - The Mobility Mob ? - David's Devious Disciples ? That's all I could think of. If a name already exists, or if anyone has any better suggestions, let me know below! Stay s̶h̶r̶e̶d̶d̶e̶d̶ flexy, brahs (and brahettes). We're all gonna make it. *************** Peace.
I hit my limmit with conventual streatching when i was young but now that im getting back into shape your videos helped me get past my old limmit in under a month
I have been stretching daily for decades. With the myriad of back problems I’ve had over the years, daily stretching has helped keep me out of a wheelchair ♿️
I tried these along with you. The deep stretch in the beginning that you can feel down to your ankle had me laughing aloud lol I was surprised. Subbed 👍. I wrecked my ankle and foot this year and had to undergo reconstructive surgery. I was stuck in a boot for months, and had to learn to walk on it again (your toes do so much!). I still have muscle atrophy, but it's getting better as my range of motion improves. I have been in PT for weeks, and all they have me do is 1 basic calf stretch with my foot on a block. Hold 30 seconds, switch to the "good foot", hold 30 seconds, and repeat x 3. I just need more than that lol 😇 Looking fwd to your channel! Many thanks! 🙃
Love your videos. I'd love a video series of a follow along stretching session. Like one for each day of the week. I see you have something on ganbaru, but I'd much rather pay for a set of videos (like the old days of buying exercise DVDs) rather than having an expensive monthly subscription. Either way, love the content. Hope you and your family are doing well.
Big time into sports and workouts.. but have jack to show for flexibility.. have always tried to warm up but that doesn't necessarily translate to flexibility.. Your Channel is a gem.. just came across it and hoping that are tutorials on improving flexibility while warming up for a game (sports or workouts etc)
Great info. I love when people show proper technique that's actually useful 👍 EDIT: *In fact, I think I'll sub the channel out of respect and appreciation.*
I have always struggled with hamstring tightness and this simple short video changed everything for me. I now do this before every karate session. Thank you very much!!! Do you have a similar technique for front and side splits - or groin/hip openers? My kicks are really struggling due to tightness.
Good morning David. You're so smart that makes me want to stretch again haha. I was wondering if you have a video with a routine to execute the lotus position. I'm stiff and in the past, when I followed other stretching videos, I menaged to injury both my knees and my lower back 😅. Hut your approach is so cientific that would be wonderful if you have a routine for the lotus. Thank you. Have a great day
Hey David! I just started your hamstring and posture programs, and I have a suggestion. You can make a small video of explaining every stretch briefly, cause photos are great, but I needed to google the correct technique for one leg RDL, for example, cause I felt I was doing something wrong. And thank you for all of your knowledge poured into us by your ebooks ❤ @MovementbyDavid
David... The last two months i started practicing yoga 6-7 days a week for gaining flexibility and some strength. Do you think some extra stretches would be good? Or is it too much? P.s. ( I am a total beginner). I enjoy your videos so much. Thank you 🙏
How to get flexible hamstrings: - Tell your body that it is okay to stretch and relax 1. Keep you back perfectly flat, hinge from the hips 2. Bend one knee alternating each at a time to get deeper into the stretch 3. Do 10 30s hamstring stretches a week

@movementbydavid what are thooose? But seriously cool shoes. Where to get them?
Challenge accepted David. I'm 185 tall and super stiff with a bad case of anterior pelvic tilt. If I stand up straight, I can't even get the tips of my fingers beyond my knees! And when I do, I get a serious hunchback/kyphosis in my back. So let's see.
i want to train my body to be able to stretch where i can bring my legs up to my head (more of a question than a comment) how much stretching and what stretches would you recomend or is it like based on preference? p.s love seing your vids in my ytb shorts feed you got me into wanting to improve my body thank you
I got huge progress in my hip flexibility after seeing this video and trying some flossing, but I think I got ahead of myself. Had the worst lower back DOMS I've ever experienced. Almost couldn't get out of bed. Getting old sucks, but at least the back will grow back stronger next time I try! I don't think I've hit those lower back muscles in almost 20 years. 😬
My calves are always tight which impede my hamstring stretching. Why is theis the case. How can I best stretch my calves? and Thank You. just found your channel and I'm giving it a go...
Hey David! I know this is somewhat rude and entirely different from the subject of the video, but do you plan to ever do more follow along videos? I’ve found your videos to be my main source recently as I try to become more fit and happy, and love the follow along stretch videos.
I've never heard of an Ebook and wouldn't know how to access one! I'm 61 and didn't grow up with a computer in my hand! But I would love to able to do the splits
Do you have a video on good back stretches? Arms, legs, neck, whatever else seems like there's a ton of resources, but backs feel kinda neglected for good and proper flexibility
Can you make a video about that initial stretch at 1:00? After 1-3 reps of this, I feel a very intense stretch in the hamstrings and can't go any lower, so I can't help but think I'm probably doing it wrong. For example, when you bend one knee, the torso goes a little lower, then when you straighten that knee, do you try to keep that lower height, or do you go back to where you started from? And other mistakes/details like that. Thanks!
I went from reaching my shins to placing my hands flat on the ground comfortably. Thank you David❤️🔥
That's awesome! What was the timeline? I'm always curious
Amazing!!! Stay Flexy friend!
@@afregistry 2-3 weeks 👌🏽
Now you can start learning to fight like scorpion.
As soon as you get a face flamethrower.
What how do I start?
Watching your videos made me start stretching 5 minutes daily, and I've made great progress!
Let’s go!!!
instead of 2 sets of 20s stretches can do 3 sets or will it be worse@@MovementbyDavid
I'm doing the same after watching his videos. Thanks for the motivation David!

I really like the twisting from side to side to improve the hamstring stretch. It really worked for me. Thanks David.
I just want to say thanks for everything you do. You've inspired me so much to where i stretch and do various things while i work.
Alternative title: "have bones? Get rid of them."

Hi David, I love your videos and your enthusiasm for being active and moving. Thank you keep doing what youre doing.
The general positive vibes of this guy make me feel like I will be able to do a full split in my first try
i am glad i found this channel. got into dance recently (voguing) and my movements always fall short to the others due to my lack of flexibility. i think your content can help bring me up to standard. wish me luck

Definitely helpful. Thank you

I did the hamstring ebook and gained so much flexibility in my hamstrings🎉

😂 I’ve said “Flexy Gang” in the past but I love these ideas. I should do a poll and get everyone’s votes!
"The Flexorcists". 😂 Keep up the amazing work David!! You're an inspiration!! 🎉👏🏾🌟😄😊
I hit my limmit with conventual streatching when i was young but now that im getting back into shape your videos helped me get past my old limmit in under a month
I can't believe how quickly this works!
Thanks for this video I’ve been practicing
Great video! Thanks David :D
He has me not only got me to work out with his videos but also stretching an I even stretch my rotator cuffs cause of him
Thanks!
I have been stretching daily for decades. With the myriad of back problems I’ve had over the years, daily stretching has helped keep me out of a wheelchair ♿️
You motivated me to become more flexible over the summer and I can now comfortably touch my toes
Best marketing seen in weeks or months
Please do a video on breathing exercises that helped your asthma ❤
fantastic video!!!
You are my hero!
Yeah! Movement is the key!
💙
this is so informative

As someone who has the tightest hamstrings known to man, I’m excited to try this out!!
Love this

freaking awesome!
I saw the thumbnail and thought to myself "Damn tree huggers" as I went to scroll by. But then I realized he looked familiar. "That ain't no tree!" 😂
Hah!! Maybe I should change the thimbnail to a more obvious pose 😂
Incredibly flexible
Great video

David please make more videos and thanks brother
Please make more videos very informative
This guy just doesn't stop flexing his flexibility.
WTF bro?!? You have over 2M subs and this is the first time YT put you in my feed!?!?!?
Whelp, at least Im subbed now!🎉
Love your videos man....having tennis elbow for around 2 month, any suggestion on relieving the pain or make it gone
Thank you for all the content! What volume per week do you recommend in order to maintain a skill or a certain level of flexibility?
Hey David! I just started your hamstring and posture programs, and I have a suggestion. Second this. Some of them I got, but others I feel I am guessing a little. It's still super helpful though.
I'm here to stay Flexy!!😺
This is cool
Thankyou 🙏🏾...i have struggled touching my toes forever
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Your content is gold! educational and entertaining to watch
On my way to stay flexy :)
Thank you so much for this, can you do a video for internal rotation of hips and abductor stretches to internal hip mobility?
Awesome ... just what I was looking for. Plus I am a huge fan of toe shoes. What are those you are sporting in this video?
David... The last two months i started practicing yoga 6-7 days a week for gaining flexibility and some strength. Do you think some extra stretches would be good? Or is it too much? P.s. ( I am a total beginner). I enjoy your videos so much. Thank you 🙏
First and second was no problem for my ok-ish trained 48y old me.
Waiting for the ambulance now after i tried the elbow thingy though.
Cool!
How to get flexible hamstrings:
- Tell your body that it is okay to stretch and relax
1. Keep you back perfectly flat, hinge from the hips
2. Bend one knee alternating each at a time to get deeper into the stretch
3. Do 10 30s hamstring stretches a week
@movementbydavid what are thooose? But seriously cool shoes. Where to get them?
Hi David! Could you make a video on how to fix bad posture ? 🙏
Challenge accepted David. I'm 185 tall and super stiff with a bad case of anterior pelvic tilt. If I stand up straight, I can't even get the tips of my fingers beyond my knees! And when I do, I get a serious hunchback/kyphosis in my back. So let's see.
Dear BackGuy,
We neeeeed....
BASICALLY MOVEMENT BY DAVID!!!
Sincerely,
Every StayFlexy Fanatic, Ever.
I will try to integrate this process before work, before lunchbreak and before the workday ends. Ive never been able to touch the floor with my hands
Good Morning 😊
You actually should make a masterclass !
That hamstring warmup thing let me touch the floor with my palms instead of just touching my toes!
Does the program include supporting, stabilizing, and strengthening, as well as stretching?
Yo David, do you use (or have you considered) using this flexibility/strength for anything competitive? Like gymnastics or BJJ?
i want to train my body to be able to stretch where i can bring my legs up to my head (more of a question than a comment) how much stretching and what stretches would you recomend or is it like based on preference?

I’ve found your videos to be my main source recently as I try to become more fit and happy, and love the follow along stretch videos.
Ive always been able to palm the ground even beyond my front side clean behind my feet. Always thought it was wierd
I've never heard of an Ebook and wouldn't know how to access one! I'm 61 and didn't grow up with a computer in my hand! But I would love to able to do the splits
Hey i really love your content, but would there be any full body stretching video?
Wow, I think this just cured me.
Hello David! Any resources on Aquiles Tendon and Heels stretches?
Do you have a video on good back stretches? Arms, legs, neck, whatever else seems like there's a ton of resources, but backs feel kinda neglected for good and proper flexibility
