    Keon coleman is being drafted to be an x receiver, if he can't seperate on go routes, the he isn't a 1st rd pick. He's a 2nd round big slot

      You don't need to separate at his size plus there are other options to win down the field. Your y or z can be that player. Some teams use their TEs.

    I agree completely, he doesn’t have downfield deep separation speed. Neither does Amon-Ra St Brown, or Garrett Wilson, or Drake London. And at 6’3-6’4 you’re not gonna be a crisp route runner. You have to use your other strengths to make up for it, and I think Keon does that very well

    I’m gonna subscribe because the work you put in here is awesome. But you have got to start saying the word “route“ correctly. In football, there is a right way. And pronouncing it like the word root wrong lol. I’m kind of just joking, I appreciate the work you put in. You have a new subscriber in me?

  • @kapilagarwal9244
    @kapilagarwal9244 7 місяців тому +1

    Sorry man but these are terrible examples of separation. One on one vs a deep middle safety who's backpedaling with the whole field of space...contested catch on a curl where he has to run past the defender in zone in his blind spot and them time it up with the throw....and then another play where he runs past the zone defender and makes a cut in his blind spot...
    I feel like your just looking at the results on college film and not really thinking about what will work in the nfl. That being said he's a big framed guy and if he works at it he can be a solid slot and sometimes outside guy like tee higgins and be a solid receiver. There's a number of guys this size and as athletic or more athletic every year in the draft, and a few of them will have enough movement skills to make cuts. It comes down to which ones are able to develop the nuances as a pro. Tee Higgins was terrible his first year in the league as a bengal but he was able to develop going into his second year.
    So if you take him in the first or second round it's gonna be because you think he's just processes better and has the mental makeup of a pro wr. I wouldn't expect him to be great his first year. Another thing that maybe works in his favor is because he can't separate on the boundary he's gonna be forced into learning the fundamentals.

  • @HeX04yXa
    @HeX04yXa 9 місяців тому

    So you are continuing to ignore his main problem with hands position when catching football. He catches football with his palms. It's just wrong! Needs to use fingers to accurately stop spinning football. And this is the reason why he dropped that first target in your video. Also this leads to body catching and cuts to YAC potential. And he will continue to drop balls in the NFL much more frequently with much more skilled corners defending him.
    Those one handed catches are inconsistent way to catch football. Better ignore them.
    Can't get vertical separation and can't catch football with proper technique that's a hard pass for me. We already have one such kind of flawed pass catcher on the roster in Mark Andrews. And he drops a lot in critical moments. That's enough.

      I don't care your maded up stats LOL. I see the process. It's flawed. Bad results will eventually come with better opposition which is inevitable in the NFL. Better watch Quentin Johnston's lowlights as proper comparison for Coleman rather than highlights of Pickens.
