    I pray that Caleb keep his convictions. He’s holding the right standard. The microphone is a pulpit for a Christian rapper, we shouldn’t do songs with secular artists that promote sin in their songs. Period

      Correct. The entire purpose for Christianity is to be set apart, be notably and noticeably different from The World.
      We are supposed to be following Gods Commands to overcome Sin, not celebrate it.

      @@lawrencebello6177 completely disagree. As a CHH producer, I’ve found that music is my mission. I found faith through music as a kid I LOVED worship music. Nowadays I show my friends chh songs and they love them. If I was not a Christian and someone put me on to a CHH song that featured one of my fav secular artists, then I’d feel more inclined to check out more chh music introducing me to faith and fun and entertaining way Rap was created for the broken, for the truth, for raw emotion. We live in a different generation you can’t just go around telling kids they need to follow god, feed it to them in their music, in their movies, subconsciously, then we will all grow in our faith. We’re doing a great job getting all this chh music to go viral lately on TikTok and stuff so let’s keep it up

    • @zacharyharrison9160
      @zacharyharrison9160 Рік тому +4

      When a chh artists gets a feature from a secular artist they are opening up so many opportunities for non believers to hear the music, check out more of that artists catalog, follow the artists, learn about their beliefs and faiths and hopefully lead them to god. Idk why everyone is so adamant about keeping secular and Christian apart when we’re supposed to be going to the non believers and leading them to faith? Besides you aren’t listening to their music that promotes sin so it shouldn’t really affect you !

    I love thiss. I love the intelligence and good points! The Professional Christians point reminds me of Timothy saying people new to the faith shouldnt be leaders or teachers because pride could get them before they have a good footing; so i would take that to music artists and social influencers too they should take a long break to get close to God before continuing work. Yeah, criticizing others is often the wrong way to go about trying to be accountability partners sometimes saying nothing and letting them grow and pray for them is the best way. So yess i agree and love this conversation! 🩶 so greatful we have such amazing Christian entertainment in music podcasts and everything. Thank you guys!

    A new sub! I am really glad to see a different side of you Ruslan. You have a lot of knowledge and you've challenged me in making sure that I am considering the faith AND well-being of a person before judging them. I would love to come on your podcast one day and talk about being a PK that had to learn Christ for myself once I moved out. Being on my own was a whole different ball game. It's different when you're on your own and you don't "have" to do certain things like attend church 3x a week, go to church events, etc. Adulthood and life knocked me on my face real bad lol. Even though I slid away from God, my spirit knew exactly where home was, so it was a no brainer that I had to go back to God, I knew it and he was right there waiting on me. I found that I had become a performer of church, so yes whenever your doors are open for me Ruslan, I would 10/10 make the time for you fr.
    Also Caleb, I rock with you too. I found your content on TikTok back in 2021 and I've been rocking with you ever since. Keep standing up for the younger gen. I pray that as the both of you use your platforms and voice, that God shine his light through the both of you. Y'all are both so amazing and this podcast is a blessing.

    I feel like christian rappers are also not successful and getting millions of streams is because Christians aren't listening to it...and they don't want to. In America for example, most people call themselves christians but they will not listen to CHH or give it a chance. I can't tell you how many times I go to christian events, parties thrown by a church, or kickin' it with christians and they don't even play CHH artist.... they'll play clean secular songs that everyone knows....the may play Lecrae, KB, or Andy once lol. If I'm at a Christian event why are we not paying Vert Mob, Caleb Gordon, Hulvey, 1k Phew etc. But if I slide to a club or a lounge I'm being looked at sideways...but at that point the only thing that separates the club from the church is there's no twerking and liquor 😂 and the club gonna play better music on top of that. Of course we cant convince everyone but I do think that christians need to give it a chance if you're so willing to support your secular artist you can't find one CHH artist you can rock with. It's always been weird to me 🤔

    I agree with Caleb because I think that if you are going to do Christian music and invite secular artist on your songs, you have to ask them, have that conversation about their walk because you have to know their heart. Are they doing it just to look good in that moment, or are they truly trying to walk and be directed by God. If they are doing this to say oh look at me, I was on his track that was hot! How would you know? You have to ask. If they just doing it for clout, nah! We need more artist like him though!

    Ruslan, on your comment about not getting your theology from rappers, don't forget that several rappers, maybe not the younger ones, are also preachers, teachers, and theologians especially those who came out of the Cross Movement camp and some out of the Reach camp as well. Phanatik is definitely the anomaly to being grounded in the Word before rapping and then leaving the faith afterwards. Truthfully, the age and being a new believer attributes to the drawing away however, it is more about the heart of the individual than those things. Because I see people in their 30's + turning away from the faith. God bless, Knu Muz.

I had to be ready to be perfect and bland. So I heard Jesus calling me but I kept putting it off. My boyfriend wasn’t saved and I didn’t want to be boring. I became a single mom. Luke 6:38
    Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

    59:23 - remember, Acts is descriptive. Its telling a story in point form. You get parts of the story in other passages like Galatians 1, Acts 22, and Acts 26. Paul was not in Arabia for 3 years which is often incorrectly preached. He was there for a short while and returned to Damascus from Arabia THEN spent 3 years in Damascus before going to Jerusalem (Gal 1:17). Since he did not immediately speak to any man or consult with any apostle (Gal 1:16) but went to Arabia, we can insert this short departure and return to Damascus between Acts 9:19 and 20. It was only after his return from Arabia did he proclaim Jesus in the synagogues. His world was just shaken and his experience as a Pharisee would lead him to prayer where he received more revelation and the ability to preach Christ so fiercely.

    Some churches need to get better at providing a platform for all forms of artistic expressions as long as it is biblical. You may get more artist willing to be held accountable. Just my experience.
