Beautiful inked flowers. I'm having a go at painting flowers in my art and junk journals, using watercolour paints. Lovely to get such inspiration from you, for design and colour palettes. I used to make cards, but I'm enjoying using the same techniques in my art and junk journal spreads and embellishments. Thank you!! joie xx
Beautiful cards! I love the color combinations. This technique is a lot easier than trying to line up multi-layering stamps, too. 😄 Thank you for sharing your talent with us. Your easygoing instructional videos instill confidence and a desire to try these beautiful cards. Of course, now I have to head back to your store! 😄
How funny ... I wanted to comment about your GORGEOUS ring (not to mention the cards), but wondered if that would be weird. Then I saw all of the other comments about your ring and had to just laugh! It really is stunning ... and I am coveting it, even as we speak. THANKS for this awesome technique. It's GREAT.
I really appreciate any videos that help with using layering stamps. I only have one set (another company), but I’ve had trouble learning how best to use them, having had no clear idea of the order to stamp them. I’ve finally figured it out by watching artists like you! To be able to use individual parts like this is a real boost to being able to get the fullest benefit from all the stamps! Thank you!
Thanks for these wonderful tips. I love it when you use a variety of your ink colors. I purchased all your ink cubes & can’t wait to try this technique.
I’m crazy in love with this technique! Not only is it lovely, it gives me an excuse to bring my cubes out of retirement (which happened after I upgraded to full sized ink pads). Thanks for the inspiration. 🌻
So good and so simple. I am just getting back to stamping after a long time away. I love the new stamps on a sheet. I have recently gotten some but plan on more. The small ink pads I have never seen but su handy looking. A trip to my local stamping store is in order. Thank you so much. I taught arts and crafts for many years. You are a very good teacher. I am subscribing today. Thank you
Where would we be were it not for UA-cam?! I would still be sitting staring at my stamps wondering what in the world to do!! Then GKD comes along....and there we are!!!
Love that look. My favorite is the card you made using the sea glass. You flower stamps are always my favorite to use. They are always so detailed and easy to line up if it’s a 2 stamp . ❤️
Thanks Gina, this is one of my fave things to do- though I never thought to try just the edge. So my inks get a little dirty, but I never minded. All I have are the small dewdrop inks so a good size for this too. Thanks for the renewed interest in this technique. Your cards are lovely !
Beautiful technique !!!!! Great when you don't have the matching colors of ink..... Thanks for sharing... I think I am going to have to have this stamp set !! It's gorgeous !!
Love this. I love how it gives more dimension to the images plus I love the last technique which made the flowers a little abstract. I will be practicing all of this.
Hi, Gina! I saw a painting at the doctor's office today that is very similar to the large daisy on your last card. Except this one was very pale against a slightly darker background and the center was painted white. I said, I can recreate that at home. But, I like yours much better. I have a stamp set that I think will be perfect for this. I love your blue ring! It's perfect for you! God bless your day.
I’m not often wow’d but I am by how simple this was... Stamp, Ink & paper...with a tiny bit of blink. I can’t wait to get into my craft room.
Fabulous, love those blue flowers.
What a wonderful technique. I love the look of layered stamps and appreciate having another way to get that look.
