@@somadey9594 Arey we worship Saumya swaroop of Maa in Durga puja or Dakshineshwar temple.
But they do have Raudra forms too. During the Sandhi lagna , from the third eye of Devi Durga , out came the Vikralmukhi Chamunda to kill Chand and Munda.Her puja is that's why confined to a certain time too with specific and unique puja
On the Dashmi day of Durga puja, we worship Devi Durga as Aparajita(the one who could not be defeated by anyone), as She killed the Mahisasura on 10th day.
But Her real form was very Ugra on the 10th day while severing the head of Mahisasura. Scriptures call that roop as Ugrachanda or Mahalaxmi with 18 hands
And the place where she killed Mahisasura, ie. Chamundi hills, there the Devi is called Sri Chamundeshwari who killed Mahisasura(remember Chamunda devi is different from Her).
So yes, at times She is very gentle as a kind mother. And at times, She is so much Vikral that She can dissolve the Entire Universe.
Yes, People call her their Daughter because She is Shailputri too, means the Daughter of Shail or Himavan who resides on this Mortolok.
She comes once in a year to Mortolok or her maternal home, and people worship her and enjoy too. She is both a loving Mother and a dreadful warrior.

The energy of Chausath Yogini is different ✨ We have the Chausath Yogini temple in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh (atleast 1100 years old) . Sadly most of the sculptures have been destroyed by Mughal forces in the Medieval Era. Despite that, whatever remains of that structure and the aura it creates is to marvel at and to immerse in!
That Mughal wo disrespect and destroy majority of Godness Yogini but what after happens to him..... That's so bad.... That's why Goodness Yogini consider to be as most powerful Goodness 🙏🏻

I've visited to temples, and I've always loved Maa Durga or Maa Kaali as if they are my mother.. and I know she can never harm me.. I just have to devoted and she will love me back maybe with more intensity..

I don't think devotees get scared at all as they feel being protected by own mother. It's just that being the all pervading energy - she has the supreme overwhelming presence. And even if you get scared by her destructive form - do remember she represents all 3 - Srishti/sthiti/pralaya. Even in death/destruction, the adishakti is present as ever loving mother. This is why her children love her as mother/daughter❤

The word Tantra is severely misunderstood. Tantra simply means a worship practice. You put a flower on the deity, offering prasadam, breaking a coconut, every action in puja is a tantra prakriya. It should not be mistaken with occult (good/bad) practices.
Yes. Even worshipping shree yantra on festivals is a form of tantra. Tantra is different from black magic as tantra brings you closer to maa kali and shiv ji and you can also attain moksha(liberation)

I have been to this temple and it's really amazing. The energy of the goddesses are flowing through you. I didn't feel any fright. I sat in a corner and did my jap of the mantra given by jy guru. Awesome feeling.

I also had a similar experience in one of devi temples. But i was not actually scared as such but whenber i went into the temple, my heart used to beat faster. I never understood why, but at the same time i felt overwhelmed as i love goddess durga.. so yes her energy is massive. For those who can sense it ofcourse. I believe that godess chooses us to see herbin the forst place.

She shouldn't have used word darawni , it's different experience like we can't see her because it's very powerful in terms of energy and beyond explanation. It's very similar to when Krishna gave Arjun , the view or darshan of his true form. Arjun requested him to be Krishna again as it's beyond his experience and very powerful view that can give anxiety or something unexplainable.

I used to visit weekly twice to Kolaramma temple during my PU studies. I never felt fear or non sleepy by seeing goddess. Instead I used to feel positivity whenever visit.
Every Idol has prana pratistaanam we call in south india...preist has to do rituals and narrate the relation of the idol and recite the Vedic chants already present in books and then establish...sometimes its other way round that maata or any idol presents itself the prarana in dream or demands to be set up in certain temple or build a temple of a kind and then the idol is worshipped then yes they have powers....otherwise they are just like any aesthetics🙏🙏

As you said they are fertile (to give birth to new life) which means they are motherly figures and from a mother you never scared of , there is nothing to fear about but yes they are powerful. Instead people get positive vibes when going to these Shaktis. Now may be you are talking about something different other than Yogini/Shakti temple.

Kolaramma temple is special tantrik temple. It is located around 70 kilometres from Bengaluru. She is believed to be tantrik form of ma chamunda or chamundeshwari of Mysuru.
