For those wondering why there was no sound on the reels back when they were uploaded, it might've been because the camera used didn't pick up sound and if it needed to a boom microphone would be plugged in.
@1:48 Thomas couldn't stop he tried to warn Berty, but it was too late. Thomas slamed head on into him crushing him and killing his drive his passenger... When it was all over Thomas was in shock that he couldn't believe had just killed one of his best friends and all those people on board. Soon the fact controller arrived and he was very much not happy at all... "Remember always becarful when near level crossing even if they are open" - This is a PSA brought to you by Network Rail. I am suprsied they never did any rail safety ads with Thomas. It would have been interesting and may have helped the messages relate better with kids. Just like Fireman Sam and fire safety.
Kinda feels like they had a bit more fun with Season 5. Mostly because they weren't going off of the books at that point, so they could pick and choose how they wanted things to go
awesome work!! Although the sounds do seem very accurate, I think the noises might be a little... too loud, at some parts? 2:07, for example, sounds like the train crashed head-on with the camera, while the video shows it being a good distance away from it. If it were a bit quieter, I feel it would make the sound effects just a *little* more accurate to what they may have sounded like. Overall, great job! Just a little nitpick I thought I should mention, in case you try this with another season's blooper reel.
Its a travesty.. A TRAVESTY that they filmed thomas without audios. Idk if its more trouble editing the audios out but at least the fans would get to watch the whole thing with audio... like 40 years later..
David Mitton and the film crew definitely used the Boulder prop as a stress ball after filming was done.
could I blame them?
not really
It’s so wild to see just how many attempts had to be made just to make this season work, really makes me respect this season more
Reminds me of Thunderbirds when they used actual props and explosions.
Basically 3 year old me doing the same thing with my trains
I love how even after the scene has clearly gone wrong, they still move the eyes. Like no one has held cut yet, so the engines have to keep acting.
it's kinda crazy how important sound design is in Thomas, the sounds you've added completely change the tone of well... everything

I wonder how they filmed the tracking shots of the engines. If anyone can give me a source, I'd appreciate it.
@@armorpro573probably a sliding mechanism that they mounted the camera on top of or maybe they had some 80s-90s equivalent of a go pro
@@MultifandomMF I assume they mounted a tiny camera on a flatbed and filmed the engines with that.
@@armorpro573 sumn like thst
This is what you would hear in my room when I was playing with trains 😆
It’s pretty much STILL the sounds you hear from mine 😅
@@ItsTrainBoy 🤣
Wow, it's like I'm really there watching the props fall off the track! I can practically feel the frustration of the crew!
This is partially why I respect the model series. The amount of patience and dedication needed to pull off one episode
Percy makes a goat have a heart attack, and other stories.
4:10 that truck can dance!
It's amazing to think the props could've sounded like this
They most likely did, with some exceptions

1:47 so is this considered a vehicular manslaughter or i guess busslaughter?
Guess you can call it ‘Thomas and the children’.
i wont lie that looks like a lot of fucking fun playing with model trains for a living
Kinda feels like they had a bit more fun with Season 5. Mostly because they weren't going off of the books at that point, so they could pick and choose how they wanted things to go
But also they had to get really creative on filming the sequences.
The whoop and cheer when the boulder scene finally was right made me laugh
All I hear from the crashing it TOMY and all I hear from the engines moving is Hornby 😅
Fr
Eh close enough
From watching this compilation of bloopers, we'd all be ROFL'ing like the troublesome trucks! 🤣😂
7:45 Oh mY gOd Smudger in season 5!!1!1!1!1!
Lmao these bloopers are even more hilarious with audio
Another good one dude!
Thank you my homie :)🙏
Rusty and the boulder hits different when it falls off the viaduct instead
It looks like so much fun to work there
But also stressful too
Rheneas Loses his face to a Boulder and Other stories
5:33 One must imagine Rusty happy
This is the most real thing ever.
I really like the Sound Effects in this one.
The cheese! The cheese needs a pin!
Now this is music to my ears my friend. Trainboy never disappoints. I did the same thing with my trains to. I always crash them together
they sound like trackmasters
Get well soon, and God bless
I wonder how many takes it took them to perfect it
LOL oh it took more than a day, my friend
These are the sounds of hardcore play
If I was there, I'd laugh my bunker off honestly-
Splendid
Awesome video trainboy
I think you're forgetting
"And, action!"
And a lot of swears
I love these type of videos
Sounds like the underwater theme from mario
This Is Pretty Good!
im 10 hrs late but better late than never
Something I do with my trains.
This was great! also have you seen the concept art for the Bye George crash with Thomas??
I have.
sounds crazily close to what i would imagine
Wow. You made them sound like real model train toys.
Probably because he DID use model trains as reference
6:44 finally we've got the shot no derailing clean movement...
Oh wait try again
Pure art.😊
The narrow gauge props aren’t troublesome it’s those trucks and it sounds like Lego’s clicking 😂
This sounded real

That wasn't intentional. Back then, the camera used didn't pick up sound and if it needed to a boom microphone would be plugged in.
About what my normal Trackmaster experience sounds (and looks) like
My first thoughts were “these are just bloopers” until i re read the title
You should do an episode on how each character got their name
Cool
19:10
