My heart broke for Kon Diao. He definitely wants to stay with Hia Yi because he loves him and he makes him feel alive, but he also feels he shouldn't be there as he is like the weapon that his own family uses to hurt or take advantage of his love. He is the one feeling the guilt and all. 😢 Anyway, Nat is nailing his character and scenes here just like all the casts!

When Diao's father ended the call with "I love you, Diao" after all the bs he spoke with him, it was totally crazy. Well, Dad you don't love him, you just love that you have a son whom you can use to leverage truckloads of wealth from the Chens.
Also, no Asian dads have ever expressed love to their kids. This is a totally imaginary scenario. Domundi should have given us TW before the start of the episode. Only if this were true, we would have more happy Asian kids who don't have to seek external academic validation.

We been knew Diao dad wasn't shit since Cutie Pie, but damn. Like he really just sees his oldest son as a means to end and that's it. No wonder why in Cutie Pie Diao would rather stay in a house that was empty a good amount of times, than go back to his family's house. It also makes me really adore that Yi and Yi's dad care so much for Diao, bc Diao's dad would have just left him with anyone it seems. Diao crying, was heartbreaking.

Did everyone just forget about that other bodyguard who was selling info about Yi to Tem? He purposely stopped Aon from following Tem that day in the hospital. I think its also him who called Tem and told him that all the guards have been replaced. I'M hoping I'M right and Aon is not the actual betrayer.
