Good video Pete, 2 things; if you have credit card that are not affiliated with a bank contacted them, if they see a charge they may freeze your card and send you a new one, happen with both my Mastercards and had to have one sent from Canada. 2nd just want to reiterate about the ATMs IT IS very easy to forget your card in the machine like Pete said but it will still take sometime 24 hours to retrieve it and serious scrutiny at the bank so have proof its your card, Very embarrassed to know this information

Also, for some countries, don't even bother exchanging money. I just came from Brazil, they take credit cards for everything. Same in Singapore, same in Europe. That way you don't get stuck with paper you don't know what to do with after your trip.
Great ideas. However, don't take a copy of your card. It is not safe. Just write the numbers down in a secure place. If you store the info on your phone, lock the file with a password. Buy a wristband (sweatband) with a zipper (secure wallet), so you can store extra cards, cash on your wrist(s) or your ankle under the sock.
