@dangymking7273 Spend as much time as you can looking out along the coast! They can and do pop up anywhere, anytime. It all involves a bit of luck of being in the right place when orca are in the area. We had a pod in the Scapa Flow yesterday. We watch from land so don't know about any boat companies.
Take an antihistamine the night before and one the next morning.refrain from eating a lot of food and stay on deck as much as possible- look at the horizon , not the ship.
Hats off to you smiling and laughing your way through your sea sickness.

How can you see orcas in Orkney and are there any wildlife tours that take people on boats that view them from a respected distance

@ from the land what would you say is the best spot
Like the most consistent sightings
@dangymking7273 honestly they can pop up anywhere, they were right in at Kirkwall harbour the other week. Hoxa Head is a good place to look out from
Recently did Lerwick to Kirkwall in massive seas. Not fun. I empathise with you ❤❤❤.
Thanks for watching! 💙
I felt so sorry for you Charlotte when you were sick 🤢, I’m not a good sailor so I’ve been there many times, 😊
Ah, thank you 😊 Thought it was the longer journeys I couldn't cope with, but it seems it's the shorter ones now too 😂🤮
