For anyone interested; Lyrics done by ear: You had it You lost it Couldn’t trust it Never could believe it It’s true that You knew that But you threw it all away I wouldn’t hurt you Desert you Right inside you, You can’t hide the truth You blew that You knew that And you threw that all away You had it You had it all, boy You had it all You want me You lost me Couldn’t do that Never could approve that We tried to(o) But we lie, too So you threw it all away I didn’t wrong you Belong to Deep inside of you I can’t find the truth You knew that You blew that Then you threw it all away You had it You had it all, boy You had it all --- To those who have experienced situation(s) like in the lyrics, well, middle fingers HIGH in the air for all those cheating partners!!! They can sod right off.
Otherwise good but definitely does not sound like "you had it all, boy". I heard "You had it all for" but other sites say "You had it all, all". I think it's "for" and not "boy" or "all".
Preffered the earlier version of this I heard over a year ago! But still, this Schema EP is gonna be sick! F**k it up is a smasher, 9 tracks too, big up the Ram crew!
You Had it is now 10 years old! Something that I was always confused by is how we didn't have this version where the vocals are in the introduction at 0:00 the version we have now starts at 0:23 shame cause I really like the vocals at the beginning! Besides that though this track is still damn good in 2023! Hamilton is such an underrated artist IMO! I miss this artist
dubstep has a universal template, made roughly around a tempo of 140 bpm. Its usually made with well placed unique hardcore sounds, giving it a random sense of feel. Its also usually has an ambient echo to it. This song, or Drum and Bass (DnB), has its own template separate, and also way different then Dubstep. Its usually created with a tempo of around 170~180 bpm. Usually with a different set of drums and sounds with a hard low bass, or low pitched sounds, with the main melody played frequent
When the drop is approaching, it is a lowpass filter which will most likely start off at around 30hz, then fade through and open up completely so that the snare has the sort of fading in effect. Just a simple automation like of the frequency of the lowpass filter will be drawn. Hamilton will most likely use cubase or logic for his tracks, but that doesn't matter. The DAW isn't really that important. It is more plugins and knowledge of how to create sounds. Then just laying out the track!
can someone answer please? when the drop is approaching you can hear the snare fading in...is it automated? (like in FL) and if yes, what is being automated, the filter or the volume?
its in 4/4 people and it uses a pretty standard DnB beat. what more can you people want? There was electronic music before dubstep and there will be afterwards.
i'm not sure i don't wanna say anything wrong, but isn't that drumstep ? some kind of drum'n bass with some wub wub ? i always heard that kind of dnb in what is it wrong ? (sorry for my bad english ) i just wanna have impression about that track :)
i'm personally not a fan of dubstep but i like the bass in this. i think it's because in this it seems chaotic and the glitches work well with the chaos whilst dubstep is slower and doesnt have the same effect
It's quite simple really. Liquid Dnb has a lot of jazz/blues influeces, often accompanied by piano or whatever.and the basslines are primarily sub bass, maybe oldschool reese whatever. Jump up is like distorted mids and shit, really like the heavy metal of drum and bass. Lots of distorted wobbles, yois etc.
Imo this Track has one of the best Drops i`ve ever heard man..
Still a banger in 2020! ❤❤❤❤
This is unbelievable underated.
Unbelievably shit
For anyone interested; Lyrics done by ear:
You had it
You lost it
Couldn’t trust it
Never could believe it
It’s true that
You knew that
But you threw it all away
I wouldn’t hurt you
Desert you
Right inside you,
You can’t hide the truth
You blew that
You knew that
And you threw that all away
You had it
You had it all, boy
You had it all
You want me
You lost me
Couldn’t do that
Never could approve that
We tried to(o)
But we lie, too
So you threw it all away
I didn’t wrong you
Belong to
Deep inside of you
I can’t find the truth
You knew that
You blew that
Then you threw it all away
You had it
You had it all, boy
You had it all
