If you want to go to Thailand then you can apply for the Thailand pass Online but it seems like it is not necessary after July 1st. You get the thailand pass visa that you apply for within 48 hours. It is a very easy process. All you need is a flight ticket to thailand, Vaccination, and an insurance that covers at least $10000 and also covers Covid 19.
You can apply for the Thailand pass here tp.consular.go...
Make sure to be vaccinated for covid 19, have a flight booked and return flight, as well as a legit international insurance. If you are not vaccinated you can also get a Negative PCR Test to submit on the site. In the coming videos I will be heading to Hua Hin, Chumpon, Koh Tao and maybe some other Island.
I just found this information that is usefull if you want to travel to Thailand after July 1st.
Thailand’s Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) has now removed the restriction of registering for the Thailand Pass program. Also, the erstwhile mandatory US$10,000 health insurance is no longer required for foreign visitors, effectively from July 1, 2022
The insurance is no longer mandatory but it is highly recommended. Foreigners and Thai nationals are now only required to show proof of either a certificate of vaccination or a negative RT-PCR or professional ATK test result within 72 hours of travel. These can be presented in either print or digital format. CCSA has also made it clear that there will be random checks on arrivals at Thailand’s international airports or land border checkpoints. If travellers are not fully vaccinated and are unable to show proof of a pre-arrival negative test, they will be required to undergo a professional ATK (Antigen Test Kit) at the point of entry.

William, I enjoy all of your videos. Be yourself. I also wanted to say that I love your message about chasing your dreams, quitting that shitty job, and trying new things. I'm 51 and I travel full time too. I've been living my dream for eight years now, but it took me until I was in my 40's to break away from societal norms and expectations, say FTW and what everybody might think, and just do what I wanted to do. Eight years ago, I sold everything after a horrific weekend of betrayal and death. It took tragedy to motivate me. I'm glad to see that it doesn't have to be that way for others. That being said, I have no regrets and I have never felt more free and been as happy as I am right now --typing this comment in a little Airbnb in the hills of Puerto Vallarta. Keep doing what you love and if you need a break or feel burnout, take care of yourself. I periodically visit my brother in the US for a month or so about once a year, sometimes twice a year, and I decompress, eat my favorite foods, and just chill out with no flights to catch, no hotels to book, no languages to learn. Side note, I'd love to hear about all your shitty jobs and the not so shitty ones too. Maybe do an "About Me" video? Have a great day my friend!

I've been traveling and living abroad since 2013 and can totally relate what you're talking about. As somebody who loves to travel and is not very good at settling down, but realizes the importance of community and relationships, I've grown to realize that having several hubs around the world where you can spend a bit more time developing a community is key. With this setup, I'm able to continue traveling as actively as I'd like, but then when I feel the need to be settled in a location, I can always go back to a "hub". It does take a bit more time in one location to create these hubs, but longer term it's the way to go and you can have the best of both worlds. Just my two cents.
Love your videos William, keep up the good work brother! Cheers!

@@williamtaudien I've got hubs in Bali Indonesia, Rio de Janeiro, and Texas. By the way, always good to see a fellow Texas State University graduate traveling the world. :). Always looking to try and set up more hubs that become a place of familiarity with familiar faces. I've spent a lot of time in Thailand as well, and although I don't have much of a community there, I know Chaing Mai fairly well and it's easy to just plug into whenever I go back there.

It gives you a freedom we have never experienced before and is quite mind blowing. Also swimming in the rain is interesting as well.

Dude I also love travelling and I understand how you feel, being even much older than you.
The thing is ... travelling and exploring and being completely free is a great part of leading a happy life... but another big part of adding meaning to our lives is through relationship ....friendships, family, and romantic love.
The problem with travelling so much is that it makes extremely difficult if not impossible to create meaningful and deep relationships.. which require a lot of time.
So you either find a girlfriend or some really good friends who want to do your same travels and explorations, or at some point you really need to settle down..
The good news is that after so much travelling you are very likely to choose a very good place ( or even a couple of them ..) to settle down :P

    • @Tech_Publica
      @Tech_Publica 2 роки тому +12

@@rachelchurchward7314 yes, sure, but that is not what I am saying. What I am saying is that at some point you inevitably will want to settle down. Earlier if you are travelling alone. If you are traveling with your soulmate maybe much later, but then you still get to a point where you need some stability for raising children, or when you are so old that you are physically not able to move around so much.

Yeah I have realized that as well. Life can be enjoyed alone but if we have some good friends it is much more fun. When you travel, you meet some people but you always go your separate ways. They go back home. I've met some fun people while traveling but you always end up in different places

Now at 70 things are getting lonely. It's tough to socialize if there are no people! 🤪🤪🤪. At 70 it's tough to socialize with 20 year old travelers... I could get away with it up until I was about 60 😎✌️.
Soooooo... What your talking about is being grounded. I don't have an anchor. I have no reason to stay in one place. The wandering must stop... So I've decided to look for my ❤️ anchor. I bounce between Thailand and Mexico... so I shouldn't have too much trouble finding my ❤️. What could go wrong?😎🤔🤣🤣🤣

A fabulous sense of humour, exceptional bodywork and one day when you get married and have two or three children, you will surely be the idol of the family because our idol is already there! I've been to Thailand 11 times but never to Koh Tao... Greetings from Lisbon! 👍

I to am a traveler and we have been to a lot of the same places , when you were in Playa de Carmen we were in Cozumel spent best part of a year there. Now your in Koh Tao perhaps my favourite island. Traveling is not so easy now since covid you need a travel parter maybe? I'm still exploring trying to find the best place that ticks the most boxes.

William, I feel like you were happiest when you were with some new friends in the Maldives. Being around some like minded travelers is probably the answer as opposed to hanging out alone as you did in India and now Thailand. Ever considered joining the Peace Corps or some similar organization and working with kids and people that could use a helping hand in an interesting place like Africa? You could continue to document your daily adventures with a job like that!

I just came home from 3 weeks of Koh Tao. The island, the bars, the restaurants, the beaches etc. Is nice. But I also like to connect with people which makes it a completely different experience. Nuchy at metal sheet bar in Chalok, opposite Aukotan supermarket is one of my regular destinations. She has the biggest smile on the island. Best food from P.Yok from Treehouse. Neal and P.Yok are doing a fantastic job at the new Treehouse (resort). P.Noi at AWOL2 on the beach between Mae haad and sairee (3 minutes walk from the peer). She was the boss of the legendary WTF bar. Cappuccino at Koppee in Chalok and Big Bite at Chalok are nice places. Hang out with the locals with beach volleyball at Chill bar in Chalok every Tuesday afternoon.

You don't need to work a regular job to settle down. You have your channel.. and the channel is like a job. The only thing is that you can't build things while traveling. You could have a house near the beach, a girlfriend, and people would still watch your channel. Too bad that you never tried to fix your US status because others did that too. Maria and you in the US, well, that would be so lovely. Or Mexico for example, you seemed to be more happy over there. But it's you life and I can tell you are thinking about all those things as well. I traveled the world too, grew up in Germany and became an US citizen at the age of 34. I am glad I found a place I love, a place in California, with beaches, palm trees, and everything I need. Now I don't need to travel that much anymore. All the best William.

Your videos are far from being boring--they are amazing!!!----they have a relaxed way about them, they aren't all hyped up--love seeing the maps of where you are--those are really instructive and informative. You have some wonderful photography that you share and the accompanying music is beautiful. I haven't seen many other peoples' videos this well done. I like it that you share your thoughts, and concerns. I don't blame you that you want to travel--just be careful!!--but don't miss out on having a family and the more permanent things in life that can bring great joy!!

You are very wise to live the life that you always wanted to live. So many of us conform to the usual 9 to 5 job and get stuck and become complacent and comfortable and we don't step out of that comfort zone, as miserable as we may be, and before you know it, the years creep up on you and one thing about this life is that the most precious thing we posses is time and it goes by so quick!! In retrospect I wish i had done so many things differently. Eventually you will be with friends and even a girlfriend to enjoy your travels with. In the meantime continue making these great videos!

hey bro, I was in Koh tao like a week ago and like you I was there 4 years ago and 10 years ago. Yes its a lot quieter but the main bars are empty now.... everyone goes to fish bowl which isa bit of a walk away. We needed up spending 2 weeks in Koh tao because we just loved it there and did loads of diving, its also where you meet a lot of people.
