Could you show the luggage standing next to it? From a little distance?It’s hard to see the scale- just whipping them up in front of the camera really doesn’t show them properly
If this helps anyone, I thought I'd share my experience. Bought two Large Hybrid cases that arrived yesterday. Unfortunately, I received NO emails or communication from Monos a) that the item had shipped or b) the tracking #s. They just showed up unannounced when UPS delivered them. BOTH of the shipping boxes were completely open. Only a tiny piece of tape was used to secure the top of each box (where the cardboard box has a carrying handle). This tape on both boxes ripped under the strain - thus leaving the box open for anyone in the UPS chain to easily remove the luggage if they so desired. Someone at Monos shipping dept. was clearly trying to save $ on tape. Otherwise, luggage was undamaged, and of decent quality. I shared an email with Monos, with pics showing the tiny piece of tape used to secure the top of both boxes.

These are beautiful looking pieces. You said you haven't had significant issues with scratching? Do you think this scratches less than the regular (non-hybrid) Monos pieces? Also, do you have any concerns about the clips breaking? If they did, it would be pretty catastrophic, as there is no other way to secure the luggage. I would buy this in a heartbeat if it had a zipper (especially an expandable zipper--which Monos doesn't offer). Still thinking about it though. Love the combo with the cream colored backpack!
any chance you could make a video showing your metro duffel bag and monos backpack with this carry on? I would really love to see how the 2 colours would look like together. This carry on on champagne is just gorgeous but im afraid that maybe the colour with the brown duffel/backpack would not look as good as a set. Thanks for posting this video. I'm still on the fence about which carry-on size to get. The 'Plus' seems to only be 1" extra on each side but I worry that they wont let me take it on because it won't fit into that metal sizer stand they have. I will mainly be flying cross country to CA or to HI but it seems that all the airlines have the same 22"x9"x14" allowance. I'm going to try my luck since you haven't had any issues with the slightly larger size of the Carry-On Plus.

@@dancingirl301 I still have not received a reply. I bought the Carry On Plus during a good sale and it will sit in the box probably a long time. At 40$ to send it back, not worth it. (also my credit card charged 8$ fee for international sale). I ended up getting direct flights (from different carriers) to my flight to Boston. One is Jetblue and one is Spirit. I will use my rolling duffle bag from Eddie Bauer which is like 75L and double the Monos Carry On Plus for a 9 day trip. When I travel to NYC, I use a back pack which will carry enough clothes for 3 to 4 days. I like using the back pack since I can check it at museums without anyone blinking. So my Carry Plus will sit in its box for god know how long before I get a chance to use it. Maybe I will use it for my current trip but as a CHECK IN. with APPLE TAG!
Looking at Alaska and United both have guidelines for the smaller carry on now. I am wondering if I buy the plus I can get away with it but then have to end up paying to check it if they get more picky down the line. Wish the airlines would be more forgiving.

On international flights (especially with icelandair) they ask you to gate check the plus size. 4/4 flights it happend to me

Zippers are a good bit less secure than clips/locks. You can use a bic pen to break open a zipper.
