  • Give these 3 drills a go to really up your speed. They don't need any fancy equipment, just a pitch and a partner if you want to really push yourself. Remember to get fully warm before sprinting, and make sure to give yourself a good rest between sprints (2+ minutes as a rough guide), you want to be fresh so you can give 100% to each effort. We would only recommend 2-3 sprints maximum if you haven't been regularly sprinting recently. Typically we are using these drills with players who are sprinting weekly in training and playing regular matches. We would typically only do 2-4 sprints MAXIMUM in a short space of time - so bear that in mind!!!
