Yesterday the Tories acted to defend MP Owen Paterson, who's been accused of breaking parliamentary rules. In response, many in the opposition (and even some on the right) accused the Tories of manipulating the rules to back their own; with many suggesting that this is the return of "Tory Sleaze". So in this video we explain what Paterson did, why the Conservatives defended him & what this tells us about the future of British politics.

This is a clear example of how corrupt this government is. The strange thing is that they claim to be the party of LAW and ORDER. If it was an ordinary citizen that was accused, and found guilty, they would want to have the full force of the law come down on her/him. It is time to hold them to account, and give them harsher punishments for such corrupt practices, as they are in a position of trust.
