I don’t understand how people live in such filth…it boggles my mind! Great job Curtis again saving the day!
People are lazy!
Everyone misses the obvious from time to time, you allowed people to see you make a wrong into a right and that’s awesome. Great job Curtis!
great job Curtis! I feel your pain on losing tools . i was the maintenance supervisor for Mcdonald's i had 14 restaurants that i kept up and over 12 years of doing that i had one of my tool pouches stolen out of my service vehicle . i also misplaced a few things over the years, it's easy to do.
that was the first thing i saw but thats how we learn
Sure glad you read the comments seeing that yellow valve off. I wouldn’t even have taken the door off. It’s a good day when just gas valves are off. It sucks when you realize you’re making mistakes, doesn’t it. I don’t feel so bad now.😅
shut up fool
That’s why I love your channel , you are like all of us . I sure have done stuff like that .
I admire your humble integrity Curtis.
most wouldn't have show'n that video.
hey good job on the gas pack sometimes things happen no one is perfect but at least you set the record straight and took a big bite of that crow sandwich keep the videos flowing
I just saw Anti DIY HVAC guy do exactly the same thing on his channel on a package unit that they installed.
Get some air pods or other mini tracking devices for your tools you commonly use.
Also, don't feel bad about missing that valve. Had one myself that had one of the safety switches on the drain that shut the air handler down. Turned out there was not enough slope on the drain allowing for a backup. Boy did I feel stupid!
It looks like Hurricane Milton swept through that second house.
Actually it needs to.
i cant believe people can live like that. I would be so embarrassed having someone over with my house a mess like that
@@jthonn 😂😂😂 Good one.
😂😂😂
@@johnstrh1 Could it be mental issues? You never know! Pretty sad.
Great job! Thorough and safety checked!
We’ve all been there Curtis, I was the guy who said you’ll be eating crow in the last video. I’ve ate my fair share in my career. Just curious about why no p trap on that unit . Well done on today’s video brother.👍👍🇨🇦
Curtis, I do understand that when you lose your favorite tool, it will throw your day off . Trying to remember where you left your tool.
@@carlsmith5919 yeah and they change the tools design every few years so it doesn’t fit the same in your hand and doesn’t even feel like your tool anymore plus it does strange new things the other one didn’t, ugh!
Great job Curtis sorry about your drill and the messy houses you have to work in thanks for the video
You bet
I was watching your last video thinking to myself that the gas valve was closed but then again I'm not an HVAC guy. Then I questioned my own sanity and thought maybe that's what an open valve looks like in Georgia. The valve was obscured by the vines though and it's easy to point out things when we had a different point of view and not under pressure of a call. Maybe you need to do these live so we can text you what you're missing ;-)
YAY You fixed it!!!
I replaced my M12 recently as well, but only because my old one stop working….. it was maybe 4-5 years old and got beat up a lot when I use to work for direct tv. I got my M12 off amazon for 77$ just with the tool only…
We never stop learning curtis, good or bad
Lovely abode, maintained with such care!
Becoming typical
Oh it was a gas valve to be sure it just needed your special touch. Lol
Another nasty home. WOW. I wonder what the evaporator coils looked like.
We’re all human, don’t beat yourself up over it 🤷♂️
They should be ashamed to have filters in that condition! As far as the previous call that is an easy thing to miss we have all done it!
The valve you showed us going to that gas pack had poison ivy all around it. We all goof sometimes. The last house, I'm not going to say it. What is the deal with all these people not changing the filters. Disgusting
Maybe Elon can program that into the robots. They’ll be great for confined spaces, attics, heavy lifting.
Renters won’t even change light bulbs anymore. That’s why rent is so expensive these days.”
@@robertkoontz7865 Right now he looks like someone I don't trust! lol
If that gas valve was a snake, it would've bitten you...........
The majority of no heat calls at this time of the year are for dirty flame sensors or restricted flue pipes. Birds nest in them in the warm months, leave the nest inside when they fly off. Believe it or not, some are human error. Someone changed a setting on the thermostat or messed up heat programming.
Once we found a dead squirrel inside the 3" flue pipe.
That look like a piece of carpet for an air filter.
I can’t believe how some people live. Clean up your space people!
WoW Curtis, the way some people live 😲 Au
I never saw it the first time either. I'll be.
That filter looks like a honey bee hive
Hello Curtis, I don’t see the sediment trap on the central furnace ? Is it hidden ?😎
That thermostat is not in a good spot it should be out in the hallway about 56” from the floor 🇺🇸👊🏼👊🏼✌🏼
My Thermostat is in the kitchen! Been there for ever.-
They put it at that height to make it wheel chair accessible
@@HVACGUY CARB and the EPA as well as local codes should figure that one out ! I think the common term used is "exempt" or "exception" !
First hell yea brother
i ment to tell you the gas valve was not on sorry i forgot to tell you lol
I was wondering if you had found your impact.
Is the thermostat set for natural gas? Time delay would be for heat pump?
I’m guessing the heat is afraid to come in in that shit hole…. Curtis you should learn to say no. I’m doubting these people are home OWNERS.
Landlords provide steady income.
Wise man once said, never send a customer an invoice for on/off switch in off position, instead send invoice for replaced filter, fully inspected system and replaced carbon monoxide detector.
About $ 350.- P+L+ Service call and new CO detector! Sales tax too! lol
On average, how many service calls do you have a day? is it slow in that area? here in North east Ga it has been sorta off
Put your name on the drill.
Hi Curtis, I noticed that you use Milwaukie tools and was curious if it was due to problems with other brands or if there was some other reason.
Milwaukie makes good quality tools that last a long time...unless lost or stolen!
Looks like the housekeep is on vacation. Could have turned the gas valve off because no one could figure out the thermostat operation.
On the second call there shouldn’t be a gas snake connected directly to the gas valve
I hope that CO detector doesn't trigger on methane; I'd think there's likely to be a fair amount around a sty.
Nice work Curtis.
Thanks!
Hi bro
Hello
@@HVACGUY Gm bro
I notice you replace, the air on several jobs, but don’t clean the return grilles.
he did his best on them . most have a greasy residue build up on them . i have cleaned hundreds and when you hit them with a degreaser or even hot soapy water the paint comes off and then the customer expects you to make it right ! brushing them off is still way better than it was before he did anything .
@@kozz1963 I’m not talking making then new, just knock the dust buildup between the louvers.
I think he knows it will get that way again, what's the use. Cleaning the vent and changing the filter should not be his responsibility.
@@jthonn It seems like you just like making excuses. There’s only two ways too do any thing and that’s a right way and a wrong way.
@@melvinwillingham233 I am not making excuses if it sounds that way. These people are filthy. I have never in my life had to have a repairman change my filter or clean my vent, have you? I don't want to say anymore, disgusting.
@HVACGUY Just bought this for that drill.Very happy with it! Magnetic Bit Holder for Milwaukee M12 Impact Driver & Drill - Milwaukee Bit Holder for M12 From Simon tools Store
