Tristan does not output as much damage as Auguste does in fights that outlive her steroid buffs, but Auguste isn't able to turn on the juice the way she can for a few turns, either. Right now, TOA & PvP favor fast matches--which is why people hype up Tristan. Both offer different damage profiles with varying strengths and weaknesses. Both are great pick-ups, but Tristan is easier to build if you only care about short fights.
This is a signal to me to level up my storm breaker lol... Im gonna try to pull both! The general team i hope to have for physical dps is Auguste, Homa, Gloria, (Cocoa or Inanna), (Saffiyah or Acambe).

This is really overstated. The main obstacle to Auguste is needing 4/5*. I've heard from a good CN player that Gloria is a good enough stand in as a partner unit (leader aura boosts his atk/def and she gives him move +1 with flag) and later down the line we get Taair who can buff his attack, speed and movement.
I lost 2 50/50 on saffiyah banner, got acambe and momo, i skipped acambe and never pulled momo, im very happy with the results, but since i didnt get saffiyah, my physical dps options are 5* col and 4* gloria, i really want auguste but i dont know if it will pay off, should i skip him and pull homa? BTW im 25 away pulls from the debut guarantee.

August 3 pulls Homa 4 pulls let's gooo! To me auguste is a must. We have more than enough support/utility unit in the game now and in the future. With Cocoa and Gloria saving for Tair is better than get Homa. Yes Homa can make a 9.0 Auguste sky rocket to a 10 but a 9 is more than enough for people not aiming for top server. Besides I really want Agatha she's my must pull so I might skip Homa if my luck with Auguste not good.
I would go for Homa, Auguste is lack for range and survival ability. He can easily be replaced. Maybe try luck for 30 pulls still oke for Auguste. My opinion
I'm superficial about it. Need more male characters, need a breaker in general, Auguste voice actor is Aizen from Bleach, I like knights. Going to skip Homa because I don't like her aesthetic or goofy parrots.
I dono why Homa is a drifter though, shouldn't Elaman be a faction of their own? I like to have Cocoa and Inana as a base the choose Iria 2 dps and typically Dantalion for Faction Buff. I don't think Homa or August really fits for what I am liking? I probably just save up for more Iria Heros, or some exceptions like Cartis. I am looking forward to Pamina, I play for more for character prefereance than power? Hopefully they rush release a healer for Union, or I may consider giving them lifesteal, I dono, not entirely sold with my limited resources.

ATK stat which make their DPS so high due to stat addition from that Tristan burst dmg is just way bigger than Auguste, but for long turn/DPS overall, Auguste win The thing is most content can be clear under 4-5 Turn when Tristan instantly turn enemy to dust If there's Boss enemy who have bloated HP stat like 1 million, Auguste can clear faster while Tristan exhausted without certain burst Buff when she's Dying (she has Resolve for 2-3 turn iirc)
@@chris71350able there's no right answer. IF you skip Auguste you going for Tristan for sure. Until there you will rely on Rawiyah/Stormbreaker as Breakers, if this is fine for you, go for it.

Neither, Auguste needs too much investment and Homa is less necessary if you don't have Auguste because Taair can provide Move 2 as well *Shrug*.

Looking at Homa and Auguste as seperate units is kind of weird. They combo so well together, having Auguste without Homa, he will never be god like.
Also their personalities and story are SO different so its funny that they work together so well
