Neloth in Skyrim: You are too young to remember the Nerevarine, he saved us you know? Neloth in Morrowind: Hm? You want my vote to be Hortator? Fine, you can have it, just let me be in peace
At my first Skyrim walkthrough I hadn`t know TES series properly. I didn`t even understand Neloth`s line, I though it`s just random npc line. Then I understood that Morrowind plot happened 200 years before Skyrim. Then that line made some impact. But... when I had played Morrowind myself and replayed Skyrim again... This line punched me hardly. I understood that Neloth speaks directly ot ME. He says that I AM TO YOUNG to remember Morrowind.
I had the same experience. Skyrim was my first TES game as I was too young to play the other ones on release. Didn't understand a lot of Neloth's lines until playing Morrowind. It really hits like a truck realizing how much impact our characters really had on this world.
True. Also if you take the Ghost's of Tribunal creation from Skyrim SE as canon, then there is one more worshipper. It turns out that the tribunal and dagoth ur somehow still exist, just not in physical form. Dagoth ur used his mask to speak to a guy and tried to make him the next shamant, but it failed as the last dragonborn killed him.
@sockymonkie strange thing is the Mc of morrowind and oblivion are still alive as nerevar is in akavir doing who knows what and hero of kvatch became sheogorath leaving me curious where dovahkiin will go Will he go to somewhere on nirn to hide? Will he ascend to godhood like tiber septim did as reward for his good deeds and achievements? Will he fake his death and head to sovngarde from the portal in skuldafn?
@@Ollyatlas In the Dragonborn dlc, after defeating Miraak, the last dragonborn is proclaimed Hermaeus Mora's new champion. While at the same time the first one breaking precedent and assigning a specific gender is alienating and like, completely unnecessary? Very odd choice imo
He might have been looking for lands to conquer, he might be on his own journey similar to vivecs in the 36 lessons, he could be looking for more dungeons to crawl, or he could wanna bang tiger women and frost demons on top of the snake women. Who knows, tons of ideas
Shame I didnt give Morrowind and Oblivion the love and attention they deserved back in the day. How extremely cool it had to be for the Veterans to play these Games over and over again and then in the DLC you suddenly meet them again. Hopr we get something like that for Elder Scrolls 6 in the Lands of the Bretons. Praying for Druidism too.
I started playing morrowind recently. You can make a God faster than skyrim. Of course, I mean morrowinds alchemy exploit is superior to the fortify restoration exploit. Though I can argue skyrims enchanting is better because you can make constant enchantments way easier and cheaper than morrowind. However, you can't make yourself levitate in skyrim.
morrowinds enchanted items recharge on their own as well unlike later games, and you can make items that cast spells as opposed to having a constant effect, ring of toxic cloud is amazing
Always loved that specific head for male Argonians, but it sucks that every helmet removes the head-fins from the model when you put them on. Makes me feel like I _need_ to play an Unarmored character to enjoy that model.
Yes. Thank goodness too, cliffracers are the most annoying common enemy I have fought in gaming. It's also referece to Saint Patrick driving out the snakes in Ireland.
That's the big debate in the elder scrolls community. Are you the hero from long, long ago or did you just fufill the prophecy out of pure stupid luck?
Not at all. Glorifying Morrowind for no reason, the main quest is good, but the rest are the same fetch quests. The dungeons are smaller than a npcs house, I can just blast my way through everything. A bandits camp is more fun to raid, than an entire dungeon in morrowind
