You should be leading your shots. At that range, the bullets will be landing far behind the ammo shipment if you're aiming directly at it.

I think that to work around the misaligned "unknown tech" thing you need to enable share progress with your faction in the faction menu.
I always use the auto bottle fill mod means you never forget to fill your bottle when using the medical bay makes it alot easier. Loving the series so far
Oh man I’m so excited for this series. Friend of mine and I are playing it. We are only a little farther than where this episode leaves off but we built out “base” at the flight research station. We took that and have been building stuff there now.
I'd break down as much as I could from the crashed ship, cutting the batteries, medbay, & anything I couldn't rebuild loose, taking them whole to my new home, & use all the steel from the ship as building material.
48:55 -You transferred all the ice to the base Kana.
1:45, I would have gone with the Ice Cave. Seeing as you could have easily turned its enterence into a air lock and then rebuilt the Cannon to not attack you at he enterence.
You cannot get air tightness with voxels, you need blocks all around, so an airlock at the entrance does not work.
You young whippersnappers with your mag blocks have it so easy. Back in my day it was all connectors and merg blocks

I don't know if you're just not aware of it or do it for some reason I don'T know, but you can just look at any inventory (like looking at the cargo container before pressing anything to get into the GUI) and then press the middle mouse button in order to get all the items in your inventory based on what you have in the build planner. No need to actually go into the target inventory and press the button in the middle.
kinda true, but it only grabs from the inventory of the current subgrid, while the inventory button draws from all connected inventories.

Tbh I was nervous when you decided to drop a massively heavy battery on a small grid rover standing on unwelded blocks, carrying the medical components of your unbuilt respawn point but hey, Yolo, right? 😁

I would have placed a bunch of Small cargo containers up front and filled them up with rock/ice or something or the artificial mass block dont even have to fully build it at all.
The rover has a smiley face on it. :)

you could disassemble some glass and some metal grids, build some solar cell to build a solar panel for basic power

I turned the crashed ship into a rover, utilizing the battery. The battery was the floor of the rover, grind the rest below
me too. Just put some wheels on the important parts and get a mobile base. :)
Oh god, I spent hours trying to get this battery connected to my small grid rover, and now you have said that I feel such an idiot lol.
You might want to add at least one layer of Armor around your little bus if you plan to attack with it... currently everything critical is directly exposed ^^

I also noticed when playing this in multiplayer the host has the restricted build menu but the other players have access to other blocks.

Could reconfigure into a tractor/trailer combo... Might be more advantageous in some aspects
On six wheeled vehicles you can try to have lower strength on the middle wheels and more on the steering and the last pair, that should help to keep the steering wheels on the ground. With more axles than 3, have increasing strength in the front and back and softer in the middle and leave a gap after the steering wheels.
That's such a fun game. I've got almost 600 hours on it since I got it last Fall. I've not even idled it. Maybe a little while in the cryo-chamber for Uranium refinement, not much though.

Build a Vent to pull o2. A small rover vent is enough for 3x people to fill up on. Put a small o2 tank on the rover to mobile O2 also.

Also those small grid lcds has reactors behind them in the ice cave but only .2 ur ingot
When I went through it those had small batteries instead.
You can use merge blocks, too. I used those in this scenario.
I think if you just moved the very back wheels a little further back your rover would be balanced a lot better. Maybe you could remove some of the engines way at the back too, since you probably won't need max output from them, especially since you have batteries and even the means to make solar panels?
although it looks like the engines aren't even close to making as much impact as the cargo containers though.
...probably i'd say to move the batteries up a little and put cargo containers in their place? you can probably put more small conveyors in the middle even.

Why not place a connector on top of the loose battery, and another connector hanging from the base, then use the rover to lift it the battery to connect it up? Or you could do that with merge blocks too, I suppose.
04:00 or instead of adding weight, reduce the strength of the middle wheels, so they don't act as a leverage point

Last time I moved my base I put wheels on it then thrusters then hyperdrive
If you create a faction and both join it you should be able to share progression
I would also throw an oxygen tank on your base since you're going to be going thru a lot of ice filling that tank.
Why don't you use the middle muse button to pull out the components you have in the build planner?

Why not just merg block the battery to the base?
yall just gave me an idea that i have no clue how to implement as a mod..... someone should write a Roles mod. what this would entail is you would have roles for different players. they can be assigned more than one role too. these roles would be anything from miners, builders, specialties, infantry, fleet, etc. with those roles, they only have access to the blocks and/or tools associated with that role
