I've had it on literally every channel for years. It's a no brainer. I'm not a salesman, and I don't want to be, but it's really good. You can dial in some very subtle saturation, it has a hi pass that doesn't mess with anything downstream, and it's just superb for gain staging before you mix. Just my opinion, but it slots happily into my workflow and it sounds great with zero downsides. Oh, and it also doesn't use CPU when it's not passing audio...if you're unlucky enough to be stuck with your granny's PC.
Ah yes, the Front DAW. I remember when Slate released the VCC and everyone freaked out (and then promptly forgot) how much ‘magic’ it added. This does the same thing but is cheaper and doesn’t take up an extra USB slot for an ilok. Always entertaining.
I still use vcc in every mix...
I guessed before they revealed. Apparently I was wrong with Mongolian, Clunge and Gertrude. Apparently no cigar on this occasion :-(

It took long to install than uninstall. Other than the filter knob it did absolutely NOTHING. I had to put it on a spectrum analyser to see what sort of weird a$$ harmonics it was producing. Especially in the low end of the spectrum. I'm going to plug my guitar into the corn flakes box. It should do the same thing this plugin does.

Hey! The oversampling on this thing is meant for FIXING aliasing!! You'll be out shopping for a stronger computer trying to run it otherwise 😂... glad I read the manual.

I demoed this and it was really great, but I prefer my Plugin Alliance channel strips - they just kill more birds with fewer stones. Not as much THD on tap as FrontDaw though.

It looks like it's missing a wet/dry knob for parallel... But if you were blown away it's definitely worth checking out! For it have Internet oversampling? Did you check for aliasing?
In all honesty, it doesn't need a wet dry... this thing is a secret weapon. It's invaluable
Wet/Dry in this case, is simply backing off the MOJO. Otherwise you miss the point that this plugin is meant to be a signal flow device that's either On/Off and not mixed
I got it for free several years ago, but I confess I've never payed too much attention to it. LOL. Gonna try it out now. Thx.
the original version (well maybe the 2nd one), went into my sessions 3yrs ago and has NEVER been left out of any session. Its that good. I've only now just got round to remembering there's this new updated version with the magnetic Tape and new interface. Its ridiculous how much this thing changed my mixing life
