- Moorbred Farleywater Yogi Bear is sired by breed Supreme Champion, Hawkwell Versuvius 'Bear' out of Farleywater Foxglove and he runs with Holtball Herd 11. Yogi Bear stood Senior Champion and Reserve Supreme Champion at the ExieFest Exmoor Pony Society Summer Show 2021.
The ExieFest EPS Shows and Events are open to all Exmoor pony owners and breeders and they allow Exmoor ponies to be exhibited on the line, ridden and at liberty. This is a great evolution for showing - it enables Exmoor pony enthusiasts to take part who may otherwise be restricted by geographical distance or other logistics. ExieFest allows traditional showing and also encourages people who may not have showing facilities or gear, or who'd like to show their ponies at liberty. This is truly embracing and a very good way for people everywhere to show their Exmoor ponies.

We've enjoyed taking part and would encourage Exmoor pony breeders and owners to support Exiefest's shows and events. It's great for promoting Exmoor ponies, one of the UK's most ancient and endangered native pony breeds.

They are supremely intelligent,and handled gently,with common sense and patience,they are incredibly loyal,friendly and lively!!

Forward moving without being silly,
I miss my Exmoor gelding,he was from herd 11,with a diamond.
(,but very difficult to make out the branding,this was before passports,chips and freeze branding....)
He was such a character,always up for an adventure with me,my best friend,companion and Teacher.
By five years he was going really well,driving as well as ridden.
My heart broke,on the day I came home from work,
Sadly to find that my mother had sold him,to a stranger.
This ancient breed,so hardy, intelligent and beautiful
must not be lost to history,
and Im so glad to see these Exmoor ponies thriving in their natural habitat! XxX.
