Hey I’m sorry but I wanna be nitpicky for a moment- Donda West did not die during surgery. She died at home after her surgery, because of the lack of experience in those taking care of her in combination with excess of painkillers. Great video though dude

Donda had an underlying medical condition that was not properly identified before the surgery. She died while at home being looked after by a nurse after being discharged from the hospital. Her death caused a law to be passed years later called the "Donda West Law" that states that all patients undergoing cosmetic surgery have to be thoroughly examined and assessed before having surgery.
If you do another one of these videos for a single artist you should consider Gorillaz. The amount of lost media related to the band is insane.

Fan remakes of a lot of these projects are out there: Close Salami's 'Thank God for Drugs' is a great imagining of what the project would have sounded like, 'Yedits Presents: Thank God for Drugs' is a more maximalist take on Yeezus, Close Salami's 'TurboGrafx 16: Indigo Sound' is the best remake of TG16 available, and JonJeffJonJon's upcoming 'SPACEX' will be a more cinematic version of some of the leaked Yandhi tracks. Also, a lot of the 'KANYE DROP YOUR ALBUMS' tracks were made for earlier scrapped projects (Cruel Winter, TG16, SHMG).

What makes Never See Me Again so interesting to me is the way it links to POWER, with the suicide outro of 'jumping out the window, letting everything go', and in the POWER remix he mentions Donny Hathaway, who also committed suicide by throwing himself out a hotel window.
Such an interesting story, the whole thing, so many layers.

cudi fell off even harder than kanye, but tbf I always liked cudi more, so thats probably why I feel like he had a worse drop. We waited how long for motm3 and then it just sounds like crap. Dude finally did a song with eminem, its crap. KSG is awful, and the only people who liked it when it came out were literal children, like zoomers aged 14-20 LOL. And then they all probably grew out of it within a couple yrs once they realized how bad it was.

Would love to see a video going into detail of the gigantic Google Drive leak she suffered in 2017 and the many albums worth of music (along with an almost finished project called XCX World) that was never officially released

For the part where you mention that the k pop group sampled a older version of flashing lights, the k pop groups version is said to have sampled the theme song for Kanye’s failed tv show Alligator Boots. Kanye later repurposed this beat for flashing lights as well as the k pop group using it

On the topic of musicians, do you have any interest in Weezer? Rivers Cuomo dumped a HUGE archive of demo recordings at the end of last year dating back to 1992 or possibly before (not sure exactly but it's a ton of music), and the band themselves have a long history of leaks and scrapped projects that might make for a very interesting video.
In general though I'd love to just hear you gush about lost media related to specific niches that you like. I found this video really informative for a person who doesn't really know that much about Kanye as an artist, let alone a person. Keep up the awesome work!

We don't know how it'd be exactly, as the acetate of the final mix of Heroes And Villians (while Smile still being Smile) is being hoarded by a private collector and the band doesn't have it. My guess would've been Heroes And Villians would've opened the album, Good Vibrations end side 1, Vega-tables open side 2 and Surf's Up end the album.

Cabinessence vocals were recorded in 69, Surf's Up vocals in 1971, the chant at Love To Say Dada wasn't written until 1970, in fact Love To Say Dada wasn't even recorded until after Smile collapsed. Plus it would've been too long to release in 1967. The tracklist was made in the 2000s for a solo tour and wasn't Historically accurate.
Plus the Bicycle Rider section of Heroes And Villians only entered Heroes and villians after the collapse of Smile due to Do You Like Worms being canceled

Drakes mistake was not showing up at that hospital and treating Kanye accordingly. As far as Im concerned, those comments and most negative comments Kanye has said over the years can be directly attributed to Bipolar Disorder. Its the highs (I am a God, mentioning how great he is in many of his songs) with the lows (being triggered at paparazzi and going crazy, Taylor Swift incident while drunk might I add, Slavery was a choice being such a strong choice of words). This is how Lupe referred to it as: I know thats his bipolar shit so I cant judge him too harshly.
Imagine if Drake had shown up or called and been like hey brother I heard what you said about me, I just want to listen. I wont hate or judge, now were all realizing you have bipolar and I just want to understand whats going through your head.. That would have gone a LONG way. Thats probably why Cudi was able to reunite after a couple years and stay with Kanye even when he was wearing the hat during their performance and ranting during it. Its because they both have lost someone close to them and share mental health struggles. Cudi, if I had to guess, chose to be a listener and a friend, and not just slam Kanye in the press and abandon his friend. People need to be more aware of what mental health really is about. Its as much about how YOU treat others who are dealing with a condition as it is about YOUR own issues. We should realize by now that there is no "normal" so stop holding everyone to the strictest of standards. Im not saying you cant call someone out for their shit but you need to be able to listen and say "hey im here. I can see youre hurting" instead of fueling petty drama

I don't mind Kanye doing this too much as it's normal for artists to scrap projects and Ye has had a prolific career anyway. Some were for the better (making 808s and MBDTF instead Good Ass Job, Yeezus 2 evolving into Pablo).
