- Fellow Legends, welcome! Today we dive into the much anticipated reprisal of the Armorlock video by TheRussianBadger. The old one had some definite scuff to it, and to show the video the respect it deserves I wanted to bring it up to the current quality standards of current Kip audio and editing to kick-off Rewind Month. So fun fact, American navy ships are named after fish, however we now made more ships than we have fish, so the navy has started naming “future” fish so if we discover new fish species they will already have names.

older submarines before the Los Angeles fast attack were named after fish. But a lot of U.S navy ships are named after states, cities, or famous battles like the USS Guadalcanal an escort carrier in ww2.
Somebody tell the navy they can name the fish if they find the fish.

Reach suicide grunts are built like the Enforcers from Rise of the Triad, where they'll be the one thing you die from the most.
Everybody forgets about cloak ability. I got so much use out of it, if nothing else just scrambling the radar for others

This video was absolutely the turning point for Badger. This was, I'm pretty sure, the beginning of his big GamerSups sponsor, and it was also one of the first major videos that featured the mocap suit footage. I don't think it was the very first, but it was the one that really blew up. This was it. This was the video that turned Badger into what he is now, instead of what he was when he exclusively did R6: Siege stuff.
He now only plays games/makes videos about games he ACTUALLY REALLY ENJOYS. So, good on him for that.
I think this was like his second or third video with the mocap, so pretty early yeah. I know the Battlefront II video was the first one with mocap
Kip. So the whole smarties thing. In middle school, I knew this dude that had a bulk bag of smarties stapled inside either side of his hoodie. He would go around selling smarties like drugs because people were snorting them.
It gets better/worse.
Years later, I'm already a year into college. My (at the time) gf's little brother needs a ride somewhere. When we get to these apartments on b street, little dude was freaking out going "Be respectful, these are some OG's we're about to meet". I'm not sure what I'm expecting. But we go in, and I had to try not to laugh. It was the dude that used to sell smarties like that. We recognize eachother. Lil dude is freaking the fuck out like "Who ARE you? How do you know this guy already?". "I went to school with him". After that we're getting caught up and I found out another person with my first name we went to school with threatened to eat his soul. Weird af.
But yeah. That was hilarious
17:02 To be fair, given the Super-Strength, suit enhanced superstrength, and Heavy-ass armor, a Spartan haymakering you would just punch a hole through you like a bullet. That tank armor wouldn't take it for long.

I STILL TO THIS DAY, remember the last Bungie Day where they were giving out the blue flame effect if you signed up.
I NEVER turned that effect off once I got it.
I can't remember, was it halo 3 or reach that made the Grunt Birthday Party confetti explosion detonate grenades?
Either way that's why I can never play without 'Catch' and ' GBP' ever again because nothing is quite as fun as sniping a grunt to hear: "Hurray!" *Numerous violent explosions* and then silence.

All right I've got a story to tell thanks to the ending here, it wasn't a smarties incident it was someone on an airplane they got sour skittles they had like two bags of sour skittles they lined up the sour and then snorted it and they were a great amount of pain afterwards. And I watched him do it and I was about to tell them don't do it but it was a little too late.

I like the little detail that Badger’s model’s arm is still damaged throughout the rest of the video after it blew up.
So old it was actually designed to be FUN.
Fun fact you probably already been told: Jorge is canonically alive, the explosion created with the slipspace drive didn't kill him, it sent him to a different dimension called the Tenrai dimension (probably butchered it), with is a dimension that takes more inspiration from Japanese culture, this as been confirmed by 343 when the tenrai event was released for Halo Infinite multiplayer

Halo Reach was my First EVER Halo game and i loved it so much i was given a copy of Halo CE and loved the fucking christ out of it, to the point where a teacher couldn't see my screen i played the fuck out of it instead of doing work. Then i got into Halo 3 while over a Buddies place and i loved it too, sad to see that i couldn't get Halo 2 due to personal issues, got halo 4 and i was like..."Meh" and then i saw the reviews for Halo 5 and was like "Fuck it" and to this day i haven't touched Halo.
Moral of my story is...Shit on Reach i'm gonna skin you're dog alive with rusty shears.
Reminder that the timer on that bomb Jorge detonated was fried. So Jorge had to detonate it manually. Either way the big man is dead, but I’m certain he got vaporized instantly
His drink flavor is actually really good
I only ever got to play Reach for an hour or so with a friend who had it. We played a game where you're at the bottom of a hill and warthogs were coming down and you had to hit them with the Gravity Hammer to survive, it was so much fun.

Jorge _could_ be alive, in the books slipspace caused time travel or slipspace anomalies around Reach
Check out the Transgressor armor core in halo infinite, he probably got sent to a flood planet or worst case scenario a Gravemind.

Had a classmate drop out of highschool just so he could play Halo Reach, one of my best friends and never heard from him again ever since he dropped out the weeks after the game came out
So I actually got introduced to Halo 1 and 2 when I was about 10, when a friend of mine sat me down on his xbox and booted the game up and the two of us spent _hours_ lost in a halo TDM. I just saw it as funny green guy with cool guns.
I actually didn't sit down and Play CE until I was about 16 on PC cuz my dad owned the Hard Disk copy and was blown away with it.
But personally, despite all the hate, halo 4 will always be my favorite since it was at that moment that I _really_ got into halo, and wanted to enjoy it. Truth be told, I never really fully played Reach until the Steam Ports came out.

You can also mount the wraith from behind and instead of punching it. You can place a gernade in its reactor and it blows up
I ran Hologram when it popped up in game, and in the multiplayer it was fun to bait people with it. Especially when some asshole was camping the sniper rifle spots and you needed that extra second or two to get his scope off you so you could deal with him.

So, at 5:45, its been confirmed that Jun is still alive as of 2560.
Jun had been evacuated before the station had been destroyed.
This makes me happy.
Unfortunately, it's unlikely we'll ever get Halo Infinite story DLC at this point. Hopefully we see him do some cool things in a book or comic somewhere.

Your point about Jorge is interesting because based on the Transgressor Armor core in Infinite, Jorge may very well have been transported to a Gravemind, or at the very least a Flood infested planet, because that armor core set is literally Jorge’s armor, except its been almost completely taken over by the Flood.

Kip, Jorge literally takes off his helmet, he dies instantly if the portal lead somewhere, but it's implied that it basically just opened a portal so unstable that it just incinerated everything
yeah that was the whole point of the plan. Not like the ship was ready to actually use the slipspace rupture to go anywhere, it just tore it in half.

Bit of halo lore for you the reason jorge is so strange as a character compared to the others is that he is the only spartan 2 on the team the rest are spartan 3’s this is the reason hes much larger than the other and why he sees hallsley like his mother
I get why someone who didn't know that might be confused why he was so different from the rest of Noble, but I do t get why Badger was so confused about the story. The Convenant invades one of the UNSC's major military strongholds and your team spends them game desperately, and ultimately futility, trying to repel them/save whoever they can.
@@ssfbob456 its never really explained in the games just how important reach is if you read any of the halo books its explained that reach is the major military command for the outer colonies of the unsc thats why it has such a large build up of forces and defences

Fucking love Halo. Especially Halo 2. The early days of xbox live and just doing coop in general was fun. When the Halo 2 servers were about to go down it felt like the last wholesome moment for XBox Live when all us Halo Goofballs got to do one last match and then the servers finally shutdown. Said all our good byes and GGs haha. Kinda had that feeling of finishing a really damn good anime or something.

My friend there was a time where I drank seven big cups of coffee and on my way to the store I was on the floor because of the crash. After that I haven't had much coffee as I drink one every now and then because I didn't want to crash again and I am poor.
3:26 Don't worry about people calling you a heretic, Halo 4 was my introduction to the series, but I have played through reach, halo: CE, and Halo 2 so it's all good, as long as you at least eventually play the old ones then your all good.

I don't know if I am a mutant but a good energy drink is calming to me. If I am too exhausted when I drink something like GamerSupps or Ghost I well fall asleep within the hour because I feel so good. I have had to stop streaming sometime where I was planning to go for 12h+ because I was falling asleep in my chair when I should have had caffeine while I was more awake.

The mission where master chief and his squad stumble apon an army of covenant that had been massacred. That was the aftermath of noble 6 on a lone wolf mission.

I know the old model's mouth movements were a bit uncanny, but I honestly preferred the simpler outfit. Maybe I'll get used to this one eventually.

I never really liked how Halo Reach deviated from the books, and love how Infinite seems to follow the story of the books, but I can’t deny that either way it is a damn good game that fits incredibly well into the overall story of Halo.
