I just wanted to thank whoever it is that puts these compilations together. The PGA highlights are basically just best shots compilation, with no editing to give you a feel for the battle for first place - they are not good. This manages to nicely balance both. Thank you USGA youtube folks.

Well part of the reason was that he hit so many greens in regulation, but it was hard to get it close. So he wound up with a bunch of 30-footers and nobody is going to make a bunch of those. He hit a lot of good putts though, hard to believe that one of them didn't go in. The putts on 7 and 14 would have been nice, especially the one on 7 (the putt on 14 was very difficult), but it's otherwise hard to find where he made a mistake on the greens.

It all came down to #14:
Rory- dumps a 20 handicap-level wedge from the middle of the fairway into the heavy rough, makes bogey
Wyndham- hits the 3 wood of his life to 20 ft, tap-in birdie
Similar to the final round of the 2022 Open, Rory hit the ball tremendously but couldn't make a putt. Clark's chipping and lag putting were phenomenal. A deserving champ

Great win for Clarke he played just well enough to win and had some really clutch up and downs in final round. So disappointed in Ricky Fowler, very few players had a final round score higher than him, his putter went cold and his inconsistent ball striking killed him. I could see when Fowler was swinging well he really waits and completes his backswing, but on his wayward shots he rushes his transition, which maybe doesn’t look like it compared to some players, but if you compare his good swings you can see it.

Rory came very close again, but he just seems to lack that little extra, it's like he plays not to lose instead of playing to win. 2023' US Open was the best in many tears, absolutely the best Tournament this year so far. Great to see the field loaded with LIV+PGA Players and everyone played their hearts out to the very end. Absolutely the best pay day in the history of Golf for the Players. 😏

good win by Clark but that 18th hole isn't/wasn't a U.S. Open caliber finishing hole. It could have been a much more exciting tourney had this been played on a different course. JMTC

Wow... Just wow.... The two Rs get smacked down by the new guy on tour.... yuck.... A few LIV guys made the top 10, other than that this one was a bit of a let down, not to take anything away from Wyndham. Maybe if he finished strong and the others did not stumble so bad it would have been a little better to watch. All in all, a good win for some average golf.

@barebarekun161 Yeah, I know his record and info. He had a rookie year, then Covid hit, and now it's only 2023. He is a new guy on tour. I was more commenting on Ricky and Rory seasoned players dropping the ball, so to say.

Very much rooting for Rickie from the first round. It really looked like he had it going on. Very surprised he faded like that. Just a couple missed putts and there it goes.
