That's true. I only knew about her now as I was browsing the net. She's a great singer. There are a lot of good singers here in the Philippines in different genres. It's hard to recognize local artists unless they're national level famous or if they sing a genre a person listening is into.
Don't dare to judge a Filipino singer when you meet them in other country.. Not all filipino are good in singing but filipinos would not put our country's name on shame especially in International/Foreign Stage. We don't try for nothing. 💙

Filipinos can sing any song at any language you want. We can pronounce every letters of the alphabet. We can imitate any language and sound like a native one.... This is a typical vocals of female band vocalists. You have to develop it especially when you need to sing male songs. I practiced mine thru videoke lol. Joining bands and the music industry here in PH is tough. Lots of everyday normal talents.
Besides her obvious talent, this woman might have a degree on top of her years of practice and professional experience. She is truly impressive primarily because of her vocal range, Korean diction and facial expression. She would not have "raised the roof" of Korean audience had she not crossed "t''s" and dotted her "i's". This woman did her homework, and delivered an exceptional performance.
