I get that it's early, but this comment's not pinned yet. Also, this is the only Rambo film I've seen. Was in preparation for this video.
@@InfiniteFury2K Thanks for letting me know. UA-cam has been really weird with my own comments lately, from unpinning comments that I've pinned to outright deleting my comments on my own channel. I've had to post things three times sometimes, and I have no idea wtf is going on lol.
What was that intro music? Sounded like a rock-er.

Given Jeremy's track record, I'm genuinely shocked none of his sins was making fun of PTSD.
He's an "asshole", but that would have moved over into plain old mean spirited territory. I would hope he'd never do that. PTSD is a legitimate psychiatric disorder and way too many lives have been destroyed by it.
@@Th3Birdman Maybe this is a sign of (slight) improvement. He has made fun of mental illnesses before, even after starting his fake-woke phase. I think you even called him out in a few of your videos for such. So yeah, at least it's better to make unfunny pop culture references then insulting people with serious disorders.
@JapaneseSniper1983 it was originally called nostalgia..PTSD is only a recent name, shell shocked normally refers to the shock and paralysis associated with on the combat field experiences...
@@Th3Birdman idk if that's beyond him, he made fun of Stallone's lip In the judge dread video. The lip was caused by a doctor used a pair of forceps to deliver him severing a nerve causing partial paralysis in parts of his chin, lip and tongue.
@@williamshelton4318 PTSD is the proper medical term. Remember, the medical field likes to keep terms very descriptive so they survive translation into other languages or the passage of time. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder isn't necessarily caused by combat, it can come from any trauma from bullying to road accidents or botched surgery. Battlefield stress was just one of the first places it was identified. I know several friends that suffer with PTSD and one one is a veteran. The most recent is someone whose family was halved by Covid. The term most certainly does not desensitise anything for those who have seen its effects.
Does Cinema Sins not realize that hard acceleration of a relatively light motorcycle like the one Rambo was riding will cause the front end to lift? He wasn’t doing a wheelie for style points, he was simply accelerating the bike..
You'd be crediting them with a level of intelligence they don't seem to have.
Does anybody else get uncomfortable every time he says “Jeremy makes a pop culture ref-“ without being interrupted?
I finish it out myself tbh XD
Me
Yep. I was always expecting to hear the ding at the cut off.
he's padding the runtime bro
@@alexadame436 nah
What better way to celebrate Sylvester Stallone being King Shark in the upcoming Suicide Squad than with Rambo and good ol’ Birdman!
Let's hope it doesn't suck.
@@giannisksanthopoulos4300 Blade Runner 2049 was good, so I have some hope for Dune. Otherwise...
*h a n d*
@Chuck Haggert what about Copland?
Yep.
I STILL contend that this is the best way to watch Cinema Sins videos. Even if it's just for the subtitle gags alone. Lol. Thank you Th3 Birdman. We thank you for your service.
It's the only way I would watch a cinema sins video.
That “SANTA’S NOT WHA-“ caught me off guard XD 15:24
One of my favourite parts of the video
I love the way you say you love CinemaSins and just absolutely destroy Jeremy every time🤣😂🤣. Keep it up buddy I absolutely love it👊🏻🍻🍻🍻🍻🇦🇺🇺🇸
i like your emojis
I was thinking the exact same thing. I'd love to see Jeremy respond and watch them battle it out. Jeremy would lose horribly.
@@dogpoofairy2517 respond to what??? The truth ?
@@Menibor1 erm yes.
People in the internet think that if you criticize or review something they like, that means you hate them and will try to annihilate them forever.
TH3Birdman did nothing wrong. Jeremy drew first blood.
He drew first blood. 🗡
In Aitkin, MN, a rural town with 2,330 people, there are 3 gas stations within 2 blocks of each other, and another 2 blocks down from that. Jeremy has never left his gated community.
I have driven through Hope... It's at an intersection of 3 main highways and the last stop for many miles. Much like pretty much EVERY town in that position it has a ton of gas stations and restaurants. WTF planet does jeremy live on?
I live in a village of a little under 2,000 people (as of last census). There's two gas stations less than half a mile from each other AND two branches of the same bank only a few blocks from each other. Last town I lived in was larger (about 3k people) and had two gas stations across from each other and two more a quarter mile away in each direction.
Jeremy:*makes a video*
The birdman:"ah shit here we go again"
"How many times do we have to teach you this lesson, old man?!"
All we had to do was follow the damn trend!
I like hearing the entirety of, "Jeremy makes a pop culture reference that isn't a sin of the movie cliché."
It's pleasing.
It was funny in this video how he kept changing "movie" to synonyms until he ran out.
Th3Birdman normally: "Jeremy makes a pop culture reference-"
The3Birdman now: "Jeremy makes a pop culture reference that isn't a sin of the movie cliché."
You padding the runtime bro?
*C R O N C H*
I think he's padding the runtime.
As soon as I began to rest my eyes 😂
Same lol
Bruh same
Bruh
Youdlovetoknow Wouldntyou lol
Yo saaaame
Fun fact. The movie was filmed in British Columbia. The gas station in that small town where it was filmed was going out of business. The studio bought it and blew it up to make for a spectacular shot in the movies climax. Who'd have thought it would be that simple.
In real life, the cop likely would've BLUFFED with a night stick against a healthy war vet. My point is...he knew somebody like Rambo would've beat his ass
4:44 that’s why I was telling my parents that Iron Man 3 is a Christmas movie because of the time setting
That's the truth. I saw the film, but not at Christmas time. That time of me seeing it was in preparation for Endgame.
Birdman: "Some associates"
Subtitles: "Future Birdman"
Oh shit, I guess they finally catch up with how much you've been murdering Cinema Sins ;)
1:52 "Rambo movie title refuses to properly Rambo"
Well, it didn't bother you with Raiders of the lost ark somehow.
This is like if he sinned Rocky while living in Philly. Jeremy needs to flee the state of Tennessee ASAP
tennesseee wouldn't take him after dissing Sly
Odd. Rambo’s from Arizona.
That Santa part was so good, it got me cackling-
Fun fact: I added that during editing. It wasn't a part of the original script (that's why there are no subtitles there). Last minute additions turn out to be some of my best gags.
@@Th3Birdman nice ad lib my dude
Especially the audio of the phone call. That was perfectly executed.
14:25 Stan be stating facts
To be clear, I'm referring to how he correctly points out how most of the people who say "keep politics out of videos/movies/media etc. really mean keep politics I they don't like out of them."
True that is alot of people, then there are people like me who want to watch a video of a guy roasting an idiot who knows nothing about cinema and not want to hear anything political
@@aronhalverson2115 yeah, there's a decent number of us who just don't want a reminder that we live in a miserable hellscape of people attacking each other over two parties wearing differently coloured shirts while taking the same green from the same corporate sponsors, not the fantastic lands of swords and sorcery, space ships and lasers, or birdman critiques that we're watching.
“Why does the police station have a hose?”
Jeremy underestimates the sheer number of people who shit themselves in drunk tanks cliche
I’m surprised you didn’t go: “Jeremy makes a pop culture ref...” (ding)
Yep.
Between the santa call and the pop culture references this is easily one of the best videos of yours. 10/10
I'm sorry--but that "Santamas" Outtake actually had me Pissing myself laughing for some reason! 😂🤣😂🤣
14:50 If Jeremy ever travels to Australia, he'll be so stunned. I lived in a small country town for 6 years on a major highway that served as a glorified rest stop in the middle of nowhere that had a population of 3500. Despite this, the town had two motels, three gas stations and *SIX* separate pubs that also functioned as hotels. A lot of these towns live off travellers (who really like to drink in my case) is what I'm saying.
That opening🤣🤣🤣
So good!
That last taking off of a sin. I literally laughed out loud. 😂😂😂😂
You're the sh!t Birdman...
The only youtuber getting me through this hard time
Th3Birdman makes a video and I drop everything and click.
Santa gag was genius. Haha.
This vid was great. Sin removals on both sides is always good to see. Birdman may criticize cinemasins but it seems like a mutual respect sorta thing
OK I just have to say for sin 101...does he know ANYTHING about how Vietnam was fought? That is LITERALLY the war where they mag dumped every bush, tree, rock and log in the general direction of the bad guys, then called in air support on them just to be sure. Fire discipline went out the window when they realized their standard ammo wasn't designed well for jungle fighting and they literally needed to mow down dense vegetation to get to their targets. Just saying that that sin is Bull....more than you did anyway. Old habits die harder than tank topped policeman.
It's honestly ridiculous when they're making a joke still adding a sin. like how is you making a joke a sin of the actual film, can't you just make a joke without putting a sin so people don't get confused.
Just part of CS's brilliant satire.
They’re called gasoline alleys. For long haul truckers and average joes to fill up on road trips.
Who needs sleep when there’s a new Th3Birdman video out?
THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS! One of my favorite movie series ever, just commented on CinemaWins channel so they win this movie aswell! My favorite movie has to be Rambo 2
Hell yeah! I'm finally early to a birdman video!
God damnit, I wish you had a million subscribers.
Maybe we’ll get there one day 😅🤙🏾
As a navy veteran who has spent some time around those who have PTSD, the smallest of things that can trigger the episodes like Rambo's fear of the blade is pretty damn accurate.
I was just re-watching the original CinemaSins video and thought to myself: “Birdman would have a field day with- oh, shit! I already watched it.”
Come on bro I’m tryna sleep, but I gotta watch
7:10. If the movie makers wanted to show off Rambo's ass then all they needed to do is stay close to the novel where he escapes the Police Station buck ass naked (yes this is based off a novel)
Huh, I gotta get to reading the novel.
And I was going to ask, why not cut yourself off in the editing process for the "Jeremy makes a reference that isn't ____", but alas, I think that's building up to something 😏
Too much in this video I loved 😂, good shit, B-Man 🤘🏼
Decided to glance at instagram as i was falling asleep and now we here
It worked! Eureka!
I haven’t clicked on a video so fast in my life. I’ve been waiting for this video.
3:10 as a Clevelander I want to argue but I can't
Thank you for properly explaining why Die Hard is a Christmas movie. You are an amazing individual
So many pop culture references this can work as a modern simpsons episode
or South Park.
I think before that Sin Off at the end... Birdman never got so close into fully becoming Future Birdman than this.
Bird man did you know Ghost of Tsushima is getting a movie?
Jeremy makes a pop culture reference that isn't a sin of the movie cliche the video.
I have a suggestion, every time Jeremy makes a pop culture reference, the amount of sins he gets is increased by 1 for every reference.
Trading Places is a Christmas Movie now, but back then it was a summer movie (it was released on June 1983) and I can't get over this fact
"Santa's not WHAT!"
Well played, sir, take my like.
6:31 "First of all this is Washington"
You made me spit my soda, thanks a lot Birdman.
I donated to Birdman's Patreon. Just throwing that out there cuz it's an awesome channel.
Birdman,
If you ever get a chance read the original novel of the book. There are some very interesting plot twists and interplay between Rambo and Teasle that the movie ignores.
There was a respect Rambo had for the Sheriff when they first met. Sheriff was a Korean War vet and Rambo a Vietnam Vet.
The rest I'll let you discover (if you enjoy reading books like this).
Thanks for the video.
"FIRST BLOOD!"
- Unreal Tournament Announcer
12:47 You know, with so many pop culture reference sins, you could literally create a drinking game for everytime Cinemasins does this. Matter of fact, I admire your fortitude because I would've had a date with Last name patron, first name Tequila a long time ago.
If you watch their Warcraft video, you would die of alcohol poisoning during the drinking game.
The bigger the city, the less common you see gas stations strung together....
It's an oasis for people travelling in the middle of nowhere genius
8:10 is even funnier when you realize that First Blood was filmed in Canada
That scene being shot in the town of.....Hope
Hell, here in Colorado in the 80s there was a place called Godfather's Pizza. Had good Pizza.
"Nothing is over!"
Just Cinemasins' credibility. Thx Birdman
For a hot second, I thought the title was a declaration of war against cinemasins.
“Santamas? I might have to include this shit”
It’s old but I’m so glad you did. The video is, not the joke to be clear.
How dare he! Sinning Rambo?
Santa gag killed me
16:33 Can’t wait for the Santa-maSins festive spin off.
I can literally drive to a part in my town where there are 4 gas stations on each corner of a stop light intersection....
I actually used to pass a fish and chip shop called The Codfather which had the same font as the movie so i can agree that the shop wouldnt get sued at 8:06
Coincidentally, I too know a Fish+Chip shop called The Codfather near me in the UK. Also had the exact font.
Future Birdman gets sent to jail for criticizing CinemaSins 🤔🤣🤣
Another great video from your's truly, Birdman, also if you see this comment, can you sin Jeremy's TENET video, that is one one of my favorite movies and him sinning it for stupid reasons triggers me, please sin his video.
You know what's weird? Your delivery is so sharp that It never occurred to me that you'd have outtakes. I mean...I get it...no person is perfect and no one could possibly get everything right in one take, but (deep down) deep down, I must have thought you did.
I usually do get most of my lines in one take, believe it or not. But then, I sometimes write something that's difficult for me to say due to my accent or my permanent retainers, and then we have the funny flubs like the ones in this video.
The ending is EXCELLENT: "You actually removed a sin for one of the greatest moments in movie history? My ninja!" LMAOOOOO!
I live in Washington, that fire hose scene wasn't a waste of water, it rains 3/4 of the year. We got water to spare during winter
Goddamnit, you made me laugh with that "Butthole of the world" joke
The movie was filmed in a town called hope in British Columbia Canada. So the town is not that fi tional
Cinemasins: Irrelevant pop culture references
The Santa gag was amazing.
Its possible to sin such awesomeness? Them sinning this movie deserves this many points
👇
„Sanamus” 🤣 Man, your channel is just pure gold, keep it up
Bro this is one of my top movies I'm so glad you've recently been watching the series
8:15 - The wheelie here, and 8:49 here, are likely because the motorcycle has more power than weight, and pressing it into significant thrust will lift its front up.
This is evidenced by the physics of how it's being ridden. The first does not not appear to be a stylistic choice, and might have just happened and then kept in. The second was realistic; people that gun it while going up a slope will lose control in precisely that way.
Well technically Hope isn't a real town in the U.S. (As far as I'm aware), the real Hope is a small town up here in British Columbia, Canada. I've been through it a couple times, and yeah, they're very proud of the fact that First Blood was filmed in that location.
Exact, thank for mentioning it
Because of you, I'm going to forever associate Crazy on You with Rambo. I definitely want to watch this movie in its entirety now
jeremy thinks, in the 80s, nobody smoked weed? the war on drugs didnt even see increased incarceration rates until after 82. In a town where they are afraid of the locals harrassing him for being a vet!
In the novel and even in the dvd commentary by Stallone himself it's explained that the reason Sheriff Teasle is a dick to Rambo is because Teasle was also a war veteran, but from the Korean War. Apparently there was some resentment Korean War Vets had towards Vietnam War Vets because they got more attention than they did. The Korean War is often referred to as The Forgotten War. When I learned this watching the dvd commentary I now wonder *and even wish they had incorporated and hinted at this more into the actual film.
Well, let’s be honest, Vietnam was a much longer and more brutal war.
@@maxrichards3881that doesn't mean much for the individual
I don't even comprehend how any of the rambo movies could get sinned lol
Talking about those gas stations... I live in an area where, near here anyway, there is a four-way intersection. On each corner of that intersection is, you guessed it, a gas station.
I'm not even close to what could be called a big city either. Soooo..
The AUDACITY of sinning the "Let it go" scene not once, but thrice.
NGL, sometimes it is hard not to wish ill on Jeremy
Always on time homie🤙
Aw yeah, Th3birdman uploaded! Better get some popcorn!
brother you answered the phone like squidward in house fancy xD
Squilliam answered it like that
Jeremy: *Watches Breaking Bad* Wait a minute! How long has meth been legal in New Mexico? Where are all of these people getting meth? They're obviously high.
I almost fucking died when birdman did the pop culture reference cliche 3 times in full.
m e m e
i always thought the whole bit with the water hose was part of the delousing process of a new inmates
I literally grew up in a town of about 5,000 people that has 9 gas stations today.
