Honestly don't listen to the people that shame you for not having read all of your books, collecting books is a hobby as much as reading them is, there are plenty on my shelves that are yet to be read :)

I totally get what you mean about the book collecting. While I can’t necessarily always afford it, I am always drawn to the classic edition books at Barnes & Noble for like Sherlock Holmes, Pride & Prejudice, The Odyssey etc. The covers are so pretty.

I totally agree with your point at the start and I’m not criticising, rather being curious - I have a question as a fellow keen reader - how do you know you will like a series before buying the whole thing? And if you didn’t like the first book, what would you do with the rest of the series?
Great question! And honestly I don’t know that I will love it, I just go of of vibes and what others have said about the series. I may also have a bit ocd about it and need the whole thing who knows aha

I’m going to be honest- this is my first time even encountering your channel. However, why would you have ever read all of the books you own? If you don’t constantly have books that you buy that you WANT to read, I feel like you are less of a reader than one who does 🤷♀️ just my opinion

I don't judge you because I haven't read even 5% of my books, but I wonder, aren't you afraid to buy the entire series before reading at least one since maybe you don't like it? I am very cautious about that hahaha
Aha that’s good to know! And not really….for me the ocd or whatever it is to buy the whole series and the satisfaction of having the whole thing outweighs any worry that I may not like it :) I’m also cautious with the series that I buy 🥰
Now that you mention it, it would be better that way. Besides, sometimes they sell the set cheaper, you're right about the anxiety. My favorite saga is Harry Potter, and it took me 10 years to read all the books because I wanted them in physical form, and I was always buying new books, spending all my money, and forgetting about it, hahaha. I finally finished it last month, luckily.@@HannabooASMR

I saw you have The Colorado Kid by Stephen King!! It’s my favorite of his works and (very) loosely inspired the TV show Haven. One of my favorite books and shows of all time!!

My read to unread ratio of my physical books collection is roughly 50/50.. like who tf cares lmfao Someone can buy themselves an entire library and have them sitting on shelves and never touch them at all and it's still not anyone else's business.

I counted my books back when I had only like 100 and kept track of how many I had and every time I read one, I changed the unread count down by one. So for me having almost 300 books, I've only not read about 40😂
