When I mention consistency I don’t mean consistency of beads, I mean the product in general. The expectation of a product that works well consistently no matter the color or how it’s applied. So knowing what to expect each time you buy. Just to clarify ❤ hope this helps and starts a discussion. I would love y’all’s opinions
Yes I agree especially with these high end companies who prices are 15-20 bucks

Exactly. I just purchased from them with their new year sale and paid $15 for all my acrylics so if you just wait for a sale which is literally every month or so then there is no reason to not just buy all Notpolish and never have to worry huh? They beat down everyone else! Lol

@@angelamarie727 ha! I had one or two and they were muddy. I wouldn’t spend $ on it and I shared with someone who likes them! So I don’t have any 😭 but I would definitely keep it real!

I totally get what you're saying! Out of all brands, I prefer notpolish but KS has some great products too. Their monomer and brushes are some of my favs but the vibrant and interesting shades just aren't it. I have about 10 but I don't reach for them often anymore. So unfortunate for such an aesthetic brand. Thank you for sharing all these different ones!
I was shook honestly. I love all their stuff so when I saw some colors I wanted I grabbed them and had some covers already so thought I was good. Really sad. Their clear acrylic is my top two tho. Forgot to mention that. Thanks for watching!!

Hello Lovely! I will share with you what I was told when I reached out to Kiara Sky... The way the dip powders and the all-in-one powders were formulated differs, slightly. The dip powders are not applied with monomer but with specific resin adhesive. If monomer is used with the dip powders, the consistency does not hold and pigments will separate/marble. However, the all-in-one products can be used with monomer (as an acrylic powder) OR with the resin adhesive used for the dip powder formula. If you already figured this out, I apologize for the redundancy :0). It bums me out that the dip powders can't be used with monomer because KS has way more colors I am drawn to in the dip powder line than the all-in-one. Thank you for sharing, you are appreciated!

@@teathersboujeenailstuff hey luv! Their cover colors ARE good. If it says COVER on the jar you’re good. If it says “Sea Glass” on the bottom, those are jellies and will marble. If it says “All In One” on the jar and it’s a color …..beware! lol! 😂 you’re safe to buy the “covers” tho. They are actually amazing. Also. The exception to the rule of the “All In One” is the Clear and Pure White. Girl basically just ask me before you buy any 😂😂😂
Thank you! I thought I was crazy! I’ve given them sooooo much of my money and I don’t feel they stand behind their product. I’ve asked for replacements and they told me I had to send the product back! I sent a video and asked why wasn’t that good enough? They never responded. I just chalked it up to bad business. I have come to find the YN or Not Polish are my go tos now.
Omg. Whoa. I’ve never contacted them but would definitely have stated that in my video! Wow. That’s super rotten especially when YN and NP will absolutely get back to you, replace, not ask for products back, none of that. I still use them for several things I love and are high quality and consistent. Brushes, primer and monomer. But I get from my local shop. I get the $ still goes to them but I don’t use their website ever anymore. So wouldn’t need to go to them for customer service etc. I was considering getting their dust collector since NP is taking a while to put out theirs (lol) but so far it’s been the color scheme for me. My room is red and white (with my NP equipment) so their pastel stuff wouldn’t match at all even tho I love the colors. So yeah I’ve been torn bout that. Especially since my local supplier has all the KS stuff way cheaper than their website. But then…how does that make sense either? Right? How can I get a gallon of KS monomer at my local supplier for $150 and KS sells it for $170. Before shipping. Isn’t going straight to the source supposed to be cheaper? If the nail supply can sell it at that price (obv they making a profit or what’s the point) what kind of markup is KS putting on their OWN website? It’s crazy. So yeah. Girl no! @@getnails_byjen2726 I agree they have other really great products but I feel like they are probably a lot smaller of an operation behind the scenes than we realize. Therefore, that’s probably the reason for the problems. I can’t say I will “never” shop there again but as for the big $$$ I have laid down… no way! Never again! I have given them way too much money to be told I need to send back bad product at my own expense. I felt like I was being called a liar! That’s why when I found your post I was shocked and kind of comforted. I knew it couldn’t have been just me!
I love kiara sky bits. All time fave. I love how their brushes & they are on the flatter side however they are a little flimsy. I like mine a little more stiff but still great. I love the drill and lamp. I heard their covers are amazing but to stay away from colors. Also i love their monomer but i also love yn monomer just as much. I heard they have amazing gel polish. Never uses. I have used a couple colors n they do marble but if u work them they turn out ok. They need to find consistency in their colors. Cause weve seen it can be done.

Hi! Omg I spent so much! The problem is that you don’t know which are good. Color acrylics only. I do use them for several products that I won’t buy anywhere else! They have excellent brushes yes. They run large tho. If you like a 12, buy a 10. As far as colored acrylics? Hands down Notpolish. You can get them for 13-15 each, they aren’t too expensive 😊
I had the same issues with the all in one powders. I love the monomer and the brush though.

Idky but to me it looks like the colors are a lot heavier then the clear making it sink and the clear to rise. However everytime i open my acrylic when i use them i take a cuticle pusher and i stir them really good and it does a lot less of this
I'm flabbergasted 😮 Wow, it's so unpredictable. I would actually be scared to use it to make marble nails. Think your color scheme is beautiful until the secondary color comes out to play. I never thought a 2 for 1 could be a bad thing until now😂
Isn’t it crazy!? From a top shelf brand too and why has no one else said it? Idk 🤷♀️!! What the heck huh? Just but notpolish. Period. Never ever have to worry about quality. And they are NOT too expensive. I never pay more than 13 to 15 for them and free shipping too. If you want to know how or haven’t read me say that before lmk!
Ty for this! I recently got the DIY Bundle on KS website. I was going to the salon spending $100 a set and I figured it'd be cheaper to do it myself. I got either KS or Luminary sets so it was what I was familiar with and thought I preferred. I thought maybe it was just because I was new, but I noticed inconsistencies in the product too. How do you feel about KS gel polishes?
Hi! Their gel polishes are the same in my opinion. Some of them are absolutely gorgeous and perfect consistency and then you’ll get some that are trash honestly. I just spend all my money at notpolish now to be honest. Almost every month they have a 20 to 30% off sale on their website. I just got all my acrylics for $15 with their new years sale. So I just go straight for the quality now and I don’t waste my time at all with any other product. I still use some other products because I still have some extra laying around, like I have Young Nails monomer that I still use. And again Kiara Skys cover acrylics, their clear acrylic, their brushes, bits and monomer are top shelf. Even knowing that though I won’t buy from them anymore because I’d rather just give my money to the company that is consistent 100% of the time which is notpolish. I’m not an ambassador for them or anything like that. It’s just my honest opinion.

This is why I don’t like to purchase from different companies especially high end companies I don’t like to waste money because I’m not very fortunate and can spend a lot so I kind of stick to the brands I love or shop sales and get small amounts just to try
Me toooo! I had their cover colors from a kit and I liked their other products so I presumed their colored acrylics would be good. Plus i see a lot of YT nail techs using them on their channels. Ugh. Was pretty disgusted and I will never buy any acrylics from them again except to replace my couple fav cover colors and clear. It’s why I posted the review too cause I have never seen/heard anyone else have this problem so I wanted to share. Crazy huh? Thx for interacting and commenting!!

There are two colors I really would like to know about from KS are Top That or Chat (from their seashell collection) and Bougie Beige. Also, in your opinion, which brand or brands would you recommend for someone like me who truly needs a slow setting brand? Thanks in advance Sis
Hi love! I don’t have the colors you mentioned I’m sorry!!!! Have you searched tho colors in the UA-cam search bar? Maybe you can find someone swatching those. Or search for kiara sky swatches? And I’m a Notpolish user. I recommend it to everyone, even beginners. My opinion is if you’re learning you should be using good products to make it easier on yourself instead of cheap ones that dry fast and make learning harder. I’m not an ambassador for them or anything. Don’t make any money. I just swear by them. They are perfect. Literally. You’ll never waste your money. And right now they have 25% off sale and they do every month so they aren’t too expensive. You will pay 13-15 each acrylic which is less than what you would pay for KS or same as what you would pay for some cheap crap that doesn’t work. And they have Klarna. So you can pay a little every two weeks auto pay. And if you spend $150 shipping is free. So I would just definitely use them. Just period. Zulay acrylics are famous for being slow setting. But they chalky. Don’t recommend. Even tho lots of her other stuff is good. Your room temp and monomer plays a role too. Message me any time for questions or tips. 💜🤗
I find kiara sky is a hit or miss for me. Thier powders are realively good but thier prices are a bit steep. Still if you can afford it I would recommend them . My favorite acrylic is not polish and 876 nails . Glitterbells also have some great powders for the price point.
Notpolish my fav hands down! 876 and bomb nailz also good!
@@getnails_byjen2726 I've never tried bomb nails but another UA-camr sells gliterbells products if you want to try them . She has a website based out of Canada. Haven't compared the prices yet

@@gloval4265 that’s what I was hoping for too cause I wouldn’t have wasted the money. There were like 30 acrylics times $20 each… a waste. Like I said I wouldn’t show my clients and get them excited about a color for fear it would do that. So hopefully it helps someone!

@@gretchenbowen6134 oooh don’t. Seriously. They have plenty of stuff that is fantastic. Their bits and brushes and their dust collector, efile, lamp…their tips and their primer and their monomer and their cover colors so really they’re great for everything except colored acrylics..just don’t get those lol! No matter how tempting some of the colors are! That’s what happened to me. I had been using them for everything else and their cover acrylics were spectacular so I never dreamed when I started ordering colors that they would do that and they won’t be blended out there’s no way you can fix it, it’s just a waste of money

I hate dip and dont know how anyone can use it as preference fr. Or even hard gel or polygel nails. Hated the experience n look. Its not the same when uve always done acrylic nails
Never buy yn slick pour for acrylics unless its glitter. The solid colors suck. Marble more then this. Just like valentino color acrylic terrible terrible
