- The wheel weights can contain up to 7% antimony so it's a good bit harder than pure lead! The wheel weight alloy will be much harder when you drop your pellets into cold water during the molding process. Important links below!

I gotta tell ya Wade, I love that spoon you got to remove the top scrap! Gotta make myself one of them for sure. Also I gotta say that you got so much patience to do this and sound so calm. I have got about 6 five gallon pails of wheel weights standing by to melt in the corner of my garage and it just keeps piling up. Man alI I can see is work! arghhh! Gotta love you videos, keep em coming :)

I got a sifter and when I get a chance I will be going after some range lead at my gun club. Every tire shop I go to seems to already have people getting wheel weights from them.

they are awful heavy Michael! you figure that big muffin pan; the ingots weigh just shy of 4 lbs each!
Like you , I don't worry too much if there is some zinc or steel in there . It all floats to the top .

They just hated my slug and pistol molding videos! Had no problems with the ball molding.
