Thanks for the video. I received a copy today, and the corner is bashed in, so I wanted to see whether the components inside might have survived before I bother opening the shrink. I think they might be OK. (The only place I could find this game for a reasonable price these days in later 2024 is Amazon, and they don't protect the product when they ship it.)
I opened it up, and I'm going to keep it. The box insert was damaged along with minor damage on the edges of the largest hex tile, but nothing worth exchanging for. I'll just recycle the insert. For some reason, my box was packed in an entirely different order. The large hex tile was below all the cardboard squares, so it was basically "hovering" over the cavity of the insert. Some of the manuals were upside down, too. (The box was entirely shrink wrapped like new, though.)
Most people dislike the small cards in the game. They just don't feel as good as standard size cards. I would generally agree but the game is already such a table hog that I appreciate the small cards.

I have the first printing. Going to compare the two and see what the changes are.
It is NOT an expansion. It is a stand-alone game, which can be played together with the base game, or not.
An expandalone.
What was Mike alluding to by saying that the cards were the consternation for many in the first game?

Where do you even find this expansion? Its not listed on CSI or MiniatureMarket.
Not available in North America yet. I can't find a release date on BGG. My guess is they picked it up at Essen.
Looks like a 💰 grab. I was hoping for more of a expansion then a stand alone game.
Dude I hate to be that guy, but you gotta clip your nails.
