Thanks Adrian. It is good to be able to see these suites even though I know I would never book one. My group and family days of travel have long gone. So a regular, mini or balcony suite is my standard these days. Keep the suite tours coming because I find them very helpful and informative.
Another great tour. I would also prefer a shower instead of that bath. This would be perfect for a repositioning cruise. I'd just take my bestie... just need that powerball to come in.
@TheCruiseandTravel Guy; You mentioned there are four of this Grand Suite 2 bedroom 2 bath units. Do you know what decks they are on. And are they full view of the ocean as you sail the seas.?
Hi, they’re all on deck 9 and deck 10. Same position as in the video - ergo full ocean views. Refer to the deck plans here: www.royalcaribbean.com/aus/en/cruise-ships/ovation-of-the-seas/deck-plans and look specifically midship on decks 9 and 10. The room category is GT.
I stayed in 9231 the other week on Ovation and walked past 9234 every day. Since it had a nice tiled entrance, I thought it was a standard Grand Suite until our Cabin Steward told us. I saw the people staying in there and poor Grandma was staying somewhere else lol. I couldn't see the bedrooms so thought it was just your average suite. I walked to the back for the Suite Lounge to get my steps up. It is quite a long walk back there. I'll never get in there now as I just made Diamond Plus and they changed it to a Suite Lounge. If I had the $$, I'd do it, but I'd rather cruise more than spend money on a Suite that costs 2-3 times more. Was this on your 2 nighter with your first time cruising friends?
It depends on too many factors to give a pricing indication on here, but if you'd like a quote for a specific sailing you can submit a request on the website and then my agent partner can come back to you with pricing options. www.thecruiseandtravelguy.com.au
wow that room is amazing, it would be perfect for us :) so much better than our balcony room, which i believe is going to be a tight squeeze for the 3 of us..... just wondering, booking a cabin like that for only 3 people, would you have to pay for the extra 5 people that the room would hold? or just for 3 people? im picturing it to cost up and over $10,000 in total. our current 3 night cruise is just under 3000 for the 3 of us in a accesible balcony stateroom. i was shocked at how expensive it was for such a short cruise
You can book the room with 3 people and just pay for the people that sail. It's like booking a quad share room for 2 or 3 passengers, you only pay for those that sail 😁

@@darlenesalisbury3815 hi there. They’re all in the same location, roughly. Deck 9 from memory. You can check out the ship’s deck plans to see their exact location. Just google Ovation of the Seas deck plans and you’ll find them.

Thanks Les. Will do!
Thank you for sharing another honest & great video Adrian.
Thanks for watching, John.
I just booked one today! This video is super helpful! It makes me look forward to the cruise soooo much!
Glad it was helpful! Enjoy your cruise!

Poor grandma haha. Maybe she had an even bigger suite! 🤣
Yes, this was the 2 nighter with a couple of cruise newbies 😁
How do you book for more than 4 people? I just looked and could only put in 4 people even though it clearly states it fits 8???
You usually need to call reservations or speak with a travel agent to have them organise it on your behalf.
So what would the advage price be for 9 nighter to pacific each? 8 people or 6?

Would be very comfy for 2 people!
