- Fat Joe recently was on Math Hoffa's my expert opinion podcast, where he said some inflamatory things that has the black community in uproar, we looked into this to see if Fat Joe owes the black hip hop community an apology or are black people overreacting.

Fat joe too comfortable and he needs a reminder from hip hop
this makes no sense, fat joe is hiphop.
the problem is indenfiying as a community and not as individuals
You have a different stance than the majority of FBAs. When Joe said "radical black racists who don't want to hear Jamaican Guyanaese they don't want to hear a black guy that's not down with them or who is not Black American" I agreed 100%. The comments and lives I've been seeing from FBAs for the past week regarding Hispanics and"Tethers" has been extremely out of pocket and the FBAs have been doubling down on that behaviour. I've been seeing this FBA disdain for foreigners bublling beneath the surface for a while now and Fat Joe just spoke the truth on it. At the end of the day I'm cool not being cool with people who don't want to be cool with me.
@@JoseMartinez-bh1ng yes i see where some of the rhetoric can be considered disrespectful, thats why i decided to make this video in an attempt at putting things back in their proper perspective. b.u.t i dont think it comes from a place of disdain blacks have for PR's. i think its just coming from the frustration that, we created it and now people want to take that from us too (in the name of another race or culture). Black people generally dont dislike others for their race or culture, however, there is a certain amount of resentment for white supremacy/racism and those who came on board and chose to dislike us as well. I appreciate your input 💪🏾
No, he's completely wrong. If Puerto Ricans had 50-50 influence on making hip-hop then how come there's no Latin Influence in the sound ? I mean, you can hear the James Brown influence and the soul influence, but where is the Latin influence?
Fat Joe was wrong with his statement about 50/50.. but he wasn’t wrong with his last comment.. FBA’s spokesman’s has said some foul shit about PR’s.. keep that same energy..
@@killadelphia215what he say foul ?
fania records. do the history breh
@@nycappleFania records is for us though. We embraced Colombians, Venezuelans, Argentineans, Guatemalans in a music genre based on Cuban sounds mixed by a Dominican who promoted majority Puerto Rican talent. Fania was for ALL Hispanics. We're inclusive with eachother, the FBAs can stick to their own. Fania has nothing to do with FBAs or their culture period.
@JoseMartinez-bh1ng incorrect answer. fania records is us, we are all black, all latin countries. fania records had direct influence on hiphop.
It's a hood thing. You wouldn't understand. Ricans and blacks are brothers in the hood. Just like you say it so do they.
@@premier1printing i broke that all down in the video, watch it, if you want to get a better understanding of what im saying and have an INFORMED opinion. Peace!
@@ThatShitIsHotSunliveI'm asain (5 billion strong) and in 1999 I Said nigga (not ER) in a rap song vs uk whites in beef, never Said it since...is that why you mad at him too (blacks made hiphop) that was normal back then honestly
Fat joe is 50yearsold and not in hood no more.
you're 100% RIGHT!
FAT JOE IS NOT RACIST BRO THAT MAN IS FROM THE BRONX RAISED AND GREW UP WITH BLACK PEOPLE..HE JUST MADE A STUPID DEMOCRATS COMMENT..
