BEFORE MAKING ANY CHANGES MAKE A SAVE COPY OF EVERYTHING, MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR FILES TO A DISK OR SYSEX BECAUSE IF YOU LOAD NEW SOUNDS OR PRESETS, WHATEVER IS IN MEMORY WILL BE LOST.
HOW TO SEND TIMBERS VIA SYSEX.
I'm using Windows 10 OS, but it can be any other (as long as it's compatible with BOME and the interface used). You will need a MIDI interface and a MIDI cable, as well as a USB cable (to connect the card to the PC)
1. Download the BOME program on your PC
2. You will need an audio interface (I use M-AUDIO card) or USB MIDI cable (some may NOT WORK)
3. Connect the MIDI cable to the MIDI input (IN) of the keyboard and the other end to the MIDI (OUT) of the audio card.
4. Connect the card's USB cable to the PC's USB port.
5. Turn on the PC with the card already connected to it, so that it can recognize it and avoid errors.
6. Turn on the ENSONIQ TS 10/12, and note (in this case) that it is set to factory tones.
7. Press the MIDI button three times until “MIDI SYS-EX” appears on the screen, and toggle it to ON.
8. If the audio interface is not turned on, turn it on.
9. On the PC, click on the BOME program icon to open it.
10. Click on the “MIDI OUT” MENU to select the interface or MIDI cable used, in this case I am using Fast Track Pro.
11. Click FILE and then OPEN to browse for the sysex file you want to send to the ENSONIQ TS 10/12
12. Click on the sysex file so that a sequence of binary numbers can appear on the screen (MIDI OUT) of the BOME
13. Click the “SEND (F4)” button to start the transfer. Note that the LED on the interface is blinking, indicating that files are being transferred.
14. A “sending” message with some numbers will appear on the last line of the BOME.
15. Now just wait, usually no message appears on the ENSONIQ display, but in some cases it may.
16. The waiting time varies according to the type of PC, operating system, interface, cables, etc., it can vary on average from 3 to 8 minutes to complete the shipment.
17. When the message “SENT” appears on the last line of the BOME, the transfer is complete and the new sounds will appear on the ENSONIQ TS 10/12 on the SOUNDS button U0-0 and U1-0.
18. See that all timbres have been changed, THANKS TO ALL OF YOU!!!
1. MIDI IN KEYBOARD
2. MIDI OUT USB HUB
3. POWER ON LAPTOP
4. POWER ON KEYBOARD
5. SELECT "MIDI-CONTROL" ON KEYBOARD 3 TIMES UNTIL YOU FIND "MIDI SYSEX"
6. SWITCH TO "ON"
7. GO BACK TO "USER BANK SET U0-0"
8. SELECT USB INTERFACE IN BOME SENDSX
9. FILE OPEN TO THE SOUND YOU WANT TO TRANSFER
10. Send file
To save to disk
1. Press "Storage (Disk)" on the TS10
2. Select "Disk"
3. Select "Save"
4. Select "Yes"
5. Name the folder
6. Select "YES"

Como conseguir os bancos em SYSEX ? pois na internet só achei os disquetes numa formatacao que não consigo ler no windows... Quando vc faz esse procedimento já fica gravado no banco U ? não tem como baixar som por som, testar e montar a sua própria ordem no banco... ou seja, criar seu banco de sons em algum computador e transformar em SYSEX ?
Sim amigo. Ficam gravados nos bancos usuários. Eu tenho uma coleção deles aqui. Inclusive estou vendendo essa coleção exclusiva de quase 600 timbres... que posso enviar por e-mail o arquivo sysex ou em disquete. Os timbres que você encontrou não funcionam no Windows, é preciso um sistema e um programa antigo para que dê certo, estou pesquisando sobre isso para ver se consigo também. Penso que na outra semana conseguirei postar o vídeo demonstrando os 600 timbres dele. Abraço!
Da pra montar seu próprio banco de sons escolhendo um por um, mas isso se faz no próprio TS. Em computador só se for em algum bem antigo e com algum programa antigo... novo eu ainda não conheço nenhum... mas você pode criar seus sounds e presets do jeito que desejar.
Cara pra conseguir os sysex na internet só pesquisando muito mesmo... eu fiz isso há uns 3 anos e já deu muito trabalho pra achar alguma coisa...
