I wouldn't be surprised if these were indeed the final drum tracks, non mixed, but with scratch guitars and vocals. They're played exactly the same as the album, even with the person yelling in the background at 1:38 I love it!!!
These are early rough mixes straight off the board made during tracking. As assistant engineer I made that cassette and that is my writing. For the record I have never released or leaked Korn`s or any other bands material I worked with and have no plans to. I honor the wishes of the bands. I remember one of their crews guys stealing one from the control room and it saddened me. My loyalty remains to this day.
@Mr.Hpr52 Pie I`m not sure really. I haven`t talked to them directly in many years. Thankfully most all their tracks can be found out here.Always evolving!
Wow bro if this is true. What a fucking moment that must've been. And then I ponder the possibility that you don't even like this genre of music and it's just a job and you're neutral to feeling one way or another to a meaningful way lol n it almost hurts. But hopefully if your story is true and if you did like this band, you soaked it in
@@dannyboswell9634 believe me those sessions are etched deep into my soul. That was the second album of theirs I worked on. You can check out the last video I posted to my Dare Angel Media channel and see the plaques up behind me. I finally hung them in a premier spot in this room. I need to start recording myself telling the stories I have held close for so long.
These songs would fit nicely on a Life is Peachy box set with live Pro shot footage from 1996 on a DVD. A 5.1 mix of the album and stereo remaster of the album would a great too.
@@dalekay9ine Dave isn't a virtuoso, which forbids him from ever being good enough to receive a compliment. Musicians who aren't virtuosos should throw their instruments into a dumpster & jump head first into a empty swimming pool.
Wish they'd release box sets for albums with no limited edition (life is peachy, issues, etc) and rerelease the korn self titled tin, with stuff like the neidmayers mind demos and more.
Silvera was just so good with his repercussion drums
In some ways I like these demo versions better than the final releases.
David Rinden I do too. It's more raw.
David Rinden same here. Mr rogers demo is awesome
Yes I agree
Because they sound so pure and raw. Not compressed and mixed to shit. Lol.
So many good bands lose that "edge" during that process.

These demo versions sound so crisp and raw. I love it. It’s like falling in love with these songs all over again.
This is the same instrumental as on the album. Some of the vocals seem to have been rerecorded for the album otherwise it's just unmixed!

@@CircleofShit they sound about the same as they do on the album to me. But I like how Jon sounds way more on the Album version too
