We have to consider how much of Purdue’s recent winning streak is legitimate improvement, and how much is simply due to weaker opponents. Is this team so much better than the square who played Auburn & Texas A&M? Unfortunately, I think that’s primarily wishful thinking. Purdue has a mass psychosis group think shooting problem - when a few of the starters get cold shooting, suddenly no one from the bench can make an outside shot either. That was a disease Lance Jones, from last year’s team, didn’t have.
