Maiden flight, SebArt mini hawk EDF 12s prohibited power!!

90mm EDF with a 12s set up
So! SebArt advise NOT to over power the model and go beyond 6s with their recommended set up.
This particular plane I picked up used and its previous owner had converted it to 12s.
Although I was initially worried about the airframe it seems to be ok but it has been strengthened around the spar to give additional support.
It flies great and despite the weight of the 12s battery it was a pleasure to fly.
I used 2 6s 6000 50c packs weighing a total of approximately 1.8kgs
I got a 6 minute flight on this maiden followed by a 5:30 on the second flight. So I was really happy with that and much better than I was expecting.
The second flight saw the fan briefly cut out but luckily start back up again. Unfortunately on the taxi on the third flight the fan has stopped so I need to strip it down to investigate, very lucky it didn’t happen once airborne.
The joys of second hand purchases hey!!
Overall I’m happy with the way it flew and hopefully a swap of the esc and we will be up and flying once again.
Sorry the video isn’t continuous but as you can imagine it was difficult to track so myself and Kevin have edited out the ‘lost’ bits lol.
