I remember seeing this car pop up on the forums and being sceptical about it. Been blown away by how quickly Tadeu has got this together and the quality of craftsmanship. Hope the guys behind this get the attention they deserve as the car continues to develop.
Thank you, I knew about the 275 AR-1, so what I said was incorrect. However, when researching which tires to use it seems that the consensus is that a 275 AR-1 is significantly slower than a 245 CR-S V2, so I stuck with the 245s
@TadeuZagallo I personally haven't tried CRS yet, but from the reviews I didn't see that big of a difference in terms of grip. The life of the tyre is better on CRS, and CRS handles the heat better (takes longer to warm up though) but in terms of outright grip it was a bit mixed reviews from my research. And that is on the same size tyre, so 245 vs 275 could be a benefit for the AR1. I would advice to give it a try and see. Maybe it is not the case, but maybe it is.
@@slomant Interesting. One of the people I spoke to was Bronson, from BroFab, and I know he personally did back to back tests and found the 245 CR-S V2 to be 2s faster than the 275 AR-1, I would have to confirm at which track though. I think a lot has changed between the V1 and V2, so there's also that to be taken into account. As for my car, next year we're moving to 295/30/18 A052s, so we'll have more tire options.
Other than the onboard at the end of the video there isn’t too much. On the latest video in our channel (@ForzaRacingSE) there are some external shots from the Nurburgring: ua-cam.com/video/R_gWg2Yliz8/v-deo.html
You sir are of course absolutely right! We have no idea how this passed through our editorial team but we'll make sure whoever made that thumbnail loses his job. P.S. And yes it is not a dual-clutch but we do think it is one of the best autos out there...
Cool BTS footage on the Forza channel! Thank goodness the car came away intact!
Thanks for featuring our wild little Miata. Can't wait to bring it back next year and show you how much more insane it has become!

@@TadeuZagallo thanks for sharing this info! Very interesting! Good decision to move away from r15. Not an easy one to implement, but should pay off.
