FR i edit with davinci and every ae user calls me out for it as soon as they see me edit in davinci or tell me to switch to ae

Gonna be honest, it's better to compare the editing and work required than the result. Showing the task at hand to create such a video with both editing softwares would make for a MUCH better video.
Not gonna lie, I never knew DaVinci is this capable 😳😳. You really opened my eyes mann. I was getting confused b/w DaVinci vs Adobe but now I can see a clear winner

To do the reverse shake use what peej said in making shakes but use the "in" exept the out.

These programs are largely divided when it comes to their functionality. If you’re looking to do more color correction work, DaVinci Resolve is the clear winner. Similarly, if your focus is on animation and other assorted visual effects, you’re likely going to lean towards After Effects.

@@VFXlogzy do you like Davinci more than AE for editing and comp? Editing in AE looks like a nightmare whereas the effects in AE look easier to apply sometimes, what are your thoughts?
@@TheRobowski Honestly my thoughts are that I like ae way better than DaVinci at first I never would have thought that I could use ae but now once I started. My editing is way better. All you need to do to master After Effects is put time into learning it And you will be able to edit way better than before! Then again that is my opinion so it's honestly up to you.👌

colours on Davinci Resolve are amazing, and the glow is on point. After Effects is better for the fonts and some of the other effects though. GREAT WORK LOGZY!

nope the lighting was not better in davinci because davinci didnt have any color correction and used raw colors while reuuurn actually added a quality cc which darkened the character's skin colors
Da vinci resolve is by far superior, especialy for color grading, but also include fusion for compositing and stereoscopic editing and aces color science for any dolby vision of HDR 10+ video.

@@odinladenYes, you right. But.... You have to know that Davinci Resolve, long before become a video editing app is a color grading app specialist. Because of that, Davinci Resolve have special features like advanced luma and color grading, stereoscopic 3D, Dolby Vision, magic mask, AI tracker, can render through multiple GPU (which Adobe can't), and many more.
I wouldn't say that. Davinci is a polyvalent software that allows you to make multiple things and it's really good at color grading. However Fusion part of davinci is way less advanced that After effects for many things and I tested fusion to see myself the difference. You're pretty much watching a guy that recreating an video of an other guy who does really BASIC tasks with his programm. He's not pushing his after effect's limits at all so thats kinda rude to judge the software on this video. Plus overall the synergy between ex: Ae Pr Ai Ps and Au makes the Adobe's suite way more complete imo. I would at least put a point on Davinci for color grading and the fact that you switch easily between every feature inside the same software.
@@daaalin6622 try to effect a stereoscopic or VR 360 video with After Effect it's not so easy to keep your computer fresh without bug it's very huge CPU & RAM intensive, i must admit that nodal interface is not user friendly but in this case why Nuke and fusion or even houdini still use this for decade , AE is user friendly but not so advance especialy in 3D compositing and ACES color Space you can have some trouble too manage this in post production...

Davinci Resolve: More glow than normal look like an overlay or perhaps an edit made by someone else than the animators themselves.
After Effects: Feels more like was done by the animators in the animation or perhaps feels more like was animated like that in the actual anime itself
That one triggers me, so i want to point out... no animator would let to do ai generating frames in their project, esp with software that is not designed for traditional animation. Post-production value? Maybe, but doing retiming, esp like this is just destroying original animation.
