This is such a good album, a rare no-skip album for me. I wasn’t sure about You Better Run on first listen, but even that one has that grungy rock flair to it that grows on me.
Correction, Sooyoung only translated the villain lyrics into korean since Tiffany wrote it first in English. Tiffany directed the vocals and is one of the composers.
You Better Run has really good verses and bridge. Maybe that’s why the chorus felt a little empty in comparison? I didn’t have any thoughts regarding the chorus because I was completely thrown off guard by the weird glitchy-but-really-cool effect in the verses but someone else who reacted to this song also felt this way. I get why now haha
