Cant see anything that says SETUP.EXE. The files are already saved an im not sure what to open it with so kinda stuck. Any ideas? Thanks :)

Anyone else get hit so hard with nostalgia that they cried? 😂 I turned 33 last week and I don't know why this game just popped into my head. I had to find some piece of it somewhere.
Is it me the only one creeped out thinking to what happened to Emma and her family? She never made it to pick up the locket on the beach, the house was in perfect state and her horses where still around, I mean, what happened to her?
I played this 20 years ago on my sister's best friend's computer and to this day I have dreams that take place in these woods. This is absolutely wild to see again. Thanks for posting.
I asked my mom what region of the world she thinks this game was based off of. She was like Barbie World? lol Noooo its not funny I want to LIVE there 😭😭😭 I think its heaven 💖
This didn't include an accurate amount of obsessive brushing, bathing, and feeding 😅 I remember my game used to freeze on the apple challenge every single time. I also thought finding the old cottage was the coolest thing in the world!
32 years old here and I’m already a mother too. The WAVE of nostalgia that hit me just by watching this video, made me into an emotional mess 😭💖 I have so much fond memories of this game - and also Barbie story maker. But the Barbie horse game was the most beautiful game I had ever seen back then 🥺 Which meant a lot to young me who grew up in West-Europe with minimal access to video games for girls
I played for months if not a year before I found it (because I was nine), it was such an incredible moment to have a normal ride down Rabbit Run turn into that!
Ah, this brings back memories. I used to play this game at my local library as a child and it's still one of the many reasons I still love horses to this day. The music, how you can groom and brush your horse, and even give you a feeling of actually riding a horse on a country trail. This was junk food for me back in the day.
I must have played this game 100 times as a kid, I actually start riding horses because of this game, I rode for 13 years, and ended up competing being one of the best riders back in the day. I completely forgot about this game, now that i see it again it all makes sense. I can not believe I found it again.
omg I tried for YEARS to get this game to work on newer computers, but nothing worked. Tonight, I decided to look up videos of old games and was so excited to just listen to it in the background while I draw. Couldn't stop laughing at the beginning. The card sat there... and silently...slowly.."RICK" was typed in. I don't know what I expected, but it definitely wasn't Rick! Thanks for the chuckle! :'D
I'm almost 30, and time has slowly made me a woman who can be cold, self-critical and anxious at times. But seeing this game again brought out the part me who loves being a girl, and the magic of nature and stories. So grateful to have had this in my childhood.
Wow.. sometimes I randomly think of the Barbie computer game I had, but couldn’t remember the name. Just typed in some key words and here we are! I had this on a Barbie computer. Memories, man.
Aw I loved this game as a kid so much! I don't think the graphics are half bad for the time that it was made! Graphics have definitely improved since then but I remember being amazed by the scenery lol thanks so much for uploading this game, I've missed it!
This used to be my favorite game when I was a little girl. I miss it so much! Gosh, the nostalgia really hits hard and I can feel my eyes tearing up. I wish I could go back to those good old days when all I was looking forward to on my trip back from school was playing this game. I remember being scared when it got stormy and hating the frog leaping game (it took me sooo long to win haha). I used to get excited for some kind of secret horse near the end (I'm not exactly sure cos my memory is foggy and it's been quite some time). I mean I've replayed it countless times back then. :')
As a child, I thought Emma *died* and because Barbie calls the note 'really old' I assumed she died A LONG TIME AGO. I mean I did listen to the story on the quilt but the picture on the quilt doesn't match what Barbie said.
Never really played with barbie as a kid, but this randomly came into my head. It came free with a 'family PC bundle' in the 90s, used to sit on a rocking chair at the computer and attempt some kind of homemade virtual reality in time with the first person horse riding animations
This game was scary for me, believe it or not. I was always scared something would jump out at me while riding and I'd fall off the horse. I know, weird.
Thank you SO SO SO SO SO MUCH for the download and help with compatibility! I've been trying to play this childhood game of mine for YEARS but could never figure out how to get it to work after I lost the disc as a young kid. I am so happy, thank you so much. You've made my entire year.
omg i LOVED this game as a child but I never finished it because i was afraid of going to the cabin 😂 for whatever reason i always thought the family died or something instead of moving away. I made my sister play that part while I hid. it's honestly amazing i made it as far as i did with that thinking lol
Omg same ahahaha I loved this game so much but it was kind of… creepy, the cabin in the wood scared me too lol maybe because of all the mysteries involved in the story, and my dad used to watch a lot of horror movies since I was very young, so I guess I just supposed something bad could happen in the hidden trail 😂
Dear Rick, upon completing the game myself I have one important question about your strategic choices in this game. Your choice of the white horse is frankly puzzling. With a plethora of beautifully colored horses at your disposal it seems you’ve really limited yourself both artistically and practically. I look forward to hearing your justification. - Fellow Riding Club Member, Katey
can't get the game to run on my pc. I mean it runs but it opens in black and white and a weird shape sized screen. help.. tried everything with the compatibility settings

My name is Emma, and playing this as a kid I kept thinking the game auto-generated the little girl’s name after whoever registered first. I didn’t yet understand the concept that, y’know, my name would just happen to be the same. 😂
Thank you so much for playing this game. I really needed this today to just hide and zone out into a game that was a major safe place for me as a kid. It brought back those same feelings of when I played it..

Don't worry. You're not alone. I cried the nostalgia hit me so hard. 💕😂 I turned 33 this year and idk why I wanted to find this game so badly.
ABSOLUTELY NOT ALONE. I turned 30 this year and still come back for the sounds of the horses and the music!
