Conway sure was a genuine nice man and his speaking voice was as nice as his singing voice. I wasn't really into him as I was a kid and teenager when he passed but I remember him on the radio and him on tv shows and with Loretta. I love seeing these old shows! Michael Twitty sure was a chip off the ol block, great voice & stage presence.

Did Conways use that bird as his mascot before he signed with Warner Bros? I know it ain’t the same voice, but the appearance and the name Twitty Bird might be a copyright infringement.
Notice he’s not really playing that guitar. Music artists weren’t as multi talented then as they are today.
Conway could play the guitar really well, it was just a prop here though.
