Since i found them ( Remember Me ) i was always fascinated by their magical concepts and 3rd gen vibes. I'm sure there are groups who were doing simillar concepts, but for me OMG are one and only group. Closer is still, one of best song from them. Your point about the need for groups like Oh My Girl is so true. Sometimes I just need a magical song like The Fifth Season or Time for the Moon Night by Gfriend. When I feel really down, that is the kind of music that I go to because it gives me a sort of comfort that no other music can. It's not the deepest music out there but it hits just the right emotional beats. Songs like this are getting less common these days but at least we did just have a recent new gg debut that falls into that Gfriend/Oh My Girl/Lovelyz category with CSR.

But interestingly her personality is a little different (from what I have seen): she's very unassuming, like the opposite of arrogant, sometimes she even can be a bit tomboyish. She's great. "Groups that bring positivity", "Groups that brighten up your day". Great descriptions! Much better than ppl putting all these groups in the same "cutesy concept" basket.

The point of the UFO is to represent a separation of the external world and the internal one (and leaving everything the planet earth signifies), and thus indulge in the latter (dance to its tune). That's also why she got Thanos'd - a temporary removal of physical form and responsibility that it comes with to dance purely to your internal 'tune'. Earth is a speck in comparison to the magnitude of your internal world, hence the parallel between outer space and shedding your physicality. Maybe.
Oh my girl are the best in terms of making you smile 😊 but also, they are amazing entertainers, watching them in TV programs it's such a pleasure, they never disappoint 🥰

And yes DG lol their MV's are often very cute and psychedelic, they always see a lot of animals or stuffed animals in their mvs and they always seem like they are on a trip apart. for a long time they had the concept, fairy, dream or ethereal.
