In the U.S., one of the major greenhouse gas producers, we lost 12 years in the fight against global warming during climate change denying, self-serving GQP administrations, 8 years during W. Bush and 4 years during TFG and we can't afford any more delays. I just hope the younger generation and us old Boomers who are concerned about this issue turnout to vote in mass this election. We have to do much more, much faster to avert this catastrophe.

It's not just about being able to hunt or fish, it's risk of your home being destroyed, it's cost of food, its food scarcity, loss of treasured foods like coffee and chocolate, and loss of a livable world for our kids in the future.

It's amazing to me how the Republican Party, the party of trusting everything in the hands of the free market, doesn't trust the free market to adapt to green energy. They talk about green energy being so expensive as if costs are always set in stone and don't naturally go down as the supply increases, one of the most basic fundamentals of economics. And this isn't even mentioning how expensive cleaning up after climate disasters is. It's almost like it's not the energy costs that they're fighting for.

Absolutely..it’s not that consumption is out of control (which is true as well) but just how many are consuming are hardly spoken about. This American fastest long-range reconnaissance aircraft flying at an altitude of 26,000 meters at Mach 3.5 carries 46,254 liters of fuel. It consumes 21,000 liters per hour of flight, and the cost of one hour of flight is $18,000. The average EU country with population around 38 Milion people uses yearly - 28 million cubic meters. That means per person in the scale of year it is burned 760 liters of fuel - I ask, who is really polluting the planet? Why is there an organized ecological charade that indoctrinates people with nonsense, making them believe they are the ones responsible for climate change, and therefore must be taxed for it?"
This emphasizes the disparity between individual fuel consumption and the massive fuel requirements of a high-speed aircraft like the SR-71 Blackbird, questioning the focus of environmental policies on individual contributions rather than larger-scale industrial or military activities

A paper published by two Norwegian engineers that showed evidence that climate change was not induced by humans was shut down on political basis, not scientific basis. Furthermore, most climate related policy introduced in the past 10 years have not caused a meaningful reduction in emissions, and will not do so before the world economy collapses. Finally, the political nature of how the issue is being treated is deligitimizing it. Even when assuming climate change is human made, which is now in dispute with credible scientiffic data that was shut down by political forces, the fact is the issue will be denied because of how it is being handled. No matter how dire the situation, noone will care because they fear the corrupt way it is being handled more than the hurricanes.

The East Coast of America. A trans continental travel and tourism hub. There was an American Dream of starting the Way West twice over here. The Pneumatic Travel Tube. It's been closed since 1968(memory 😅). An East Coast Pneumatic Travel Tube. They had planned on installing one on the West Coast recently, daing back to right after when Silicon Valley started up. The East Coast Pneumatic Travel Tube runs from Boston to Washington DC and form DC to Northern Florida.
Construction began in three separate places. At many different entry points. So; construction was never completed. Vagrant Cities. Subterranean Maze. Poisonous and Natural Gasses. A gigantic and very illegal mess. A vector for sickness and disease.
Now mix this with what you know about NYC's subway train vagrant population. This is real.
So now. America and the American Mining Companies of the past. There were railroads built across the nation. Mining culture, mining families followed the railroad company using it as a sort of base for operations to set up mines. Lots of ways to dig mines. Mix the Mining Culture of American Railroad Lifestyle with the gigantic failed Pneumatic Travel Tube and close all the ways out! Thinking about it now. Many of these structures have been permanently closed. Some of these structures are disaster sites.
Now imagine just one tunnel. A single tunnel somehow joining these two Subterranean Mazes. It's possible. Now if all the closed parts began to assimilate and purge into the atmosphere dangerous gasses.
How long is the blind eye; blind?

We're the main reason that global warming is speeding up, and if we keep living the same way that we currently are and continuing the same practices, then is this world really one that we want to encourage people to conceive in? Yes we'll have to be the change, but first we need to start changing which we have yet to do.
