@@tqhr I don't think Bryan 3+4, Hei f3 and Jin f4 are busted. All I'm saying is they are much better moves than Leo d1. Since they all are mid CH launchers which are 18f, except Jin f4 which is 16f. But Hei f3 and Bryan 3+4 are more rewarding on NH. Give wall combos on NH. Hei f3 has way better tracking than Leo d1 and hits grounded too. So it doesn't really make sense to complain about Leo d1, but not the other moves.

Its strong but not broken, other characters have had better options since day one, its also not easy to do out of ws4 without showing the animation, and pretty damn tight in combos as well, and thats all with good dss execution. People always have a problem with MainMan because he has a habit of speaking in hyperbole all the time but in a really smug and annoying way, but at the same time I feel in reaction to that everyone overcompensates to the other extreme. To be fair though, if we look at this more objectively (please stop instantly judging TMM for attacking and or Law mains for defending before actually trying to understand first), TMM made some valid points. It's a perfect low because it has all of the best properties TO BE SAFE TO USE, not to be damaging. First of all, it's safe on block (-9), we all know what that means right. Then, it has crazy good range and HOMING, which means it's very unlikely to whiff, except the player just made a really bad decision. The only ways to properly punish it are by either low parry or hopkick, and both options are very unlikely to happen because the move is barely reactable. You might also be able to interrupt, but the move has high crush and mid evasion, plus the range. Chances are your interruption would just whiff and you'd get punished or CH'd for it instead. That being said, I also disagree when TMM said it's busted. If we look through Law's entire moveset, he doesn't remotely have any comeback potential in the neutral. The only viable move he has is the slide and that's about it. It still makes sense to give a character with bad comeback potential a "perfect" rage drive to steal the round. IF the move *really* has to be nerfed, I don't think it should be unsafe on block. Instead, they should remove the homing property and make it track to just one side. Then, to compensate for the homing nerf, just make it completely unseeable, maybe make it i19-20 frames. I think it's a fair buff for the nerf because now the only ways to punish the move are either by pure read or sidestep/sidewalk to the weak side. And sidestepping would also be dangerous because Law has safe on block homing mids. This would give so much more depth to the game plan rather than the seemingly "braindead" homing, long-ranged, barely reactable, and safe on block low wallsplat rage drive that we have right now.

Rage drives in general are meant to be safe and making it WS launch punishable kills the very mechanic (especially because when you're in rage it means that you have low HP left and one launch can absolutely kill you). But, if it is WS launch punishable for argument sake, then the move should be able to launch as well (like Dvj's).
You can actually get magic 4 against the rd, not sure if it's during the whole animation, but it isn't fully a high crush for sure. Also a thing about this rage drive is that it has to be done from a stance, you can't just throw it out and you don't get that much off of it unless there's a wall nearby and even then you can't get his max damage wall combo cause the recovery is too slow on it.

I would say Armor King’s is worst in the game now And the mid ones that don’t launch like Leroy or Leo’s I think you could argue are worse but those can re-splat so that’s debatable Law’s is still one of the least powerful
@@fenggula7890 jacks is faster than laws, has push back that resets to neutral, if blocked, and it wall spalts perfectly. Devil jins is a launcher. Gigas is a 50/50 and has an unblockable mix up. Ak's is only trash at lower levels. When you're at fujin and up, people use it correctly, not to mention the recovery is fast, and since they buffed it, they are left a lot closer to the opponent, it's also unblockable and fast.
This is gonna sound toxic (maybe because it is) but I'm not taking advice from any player that cant break throws. The fact that he has practised pewgf's alot doesnt really apply to anything else at all
lars has a lot more usage out of his rage drive then law and its a low mid and is a frame faster it can be used in combos to give bigger damage and if in infinite stage it can give damage up to 50 if used with no big combo

At this point in TEKKEN...imo you can only master one character. You can play others but never as good as the one for you.... seen it too many times... prove me wrong!
I got what Mmswe trying to say... But it's too early to judge. But TBH Law deserve to has something, at last. In other hand, Law is specific character, with big potential to rush down opponents. So it's hard to keep him balanced in that way. Because not only he can rush you to the end, but also, he can be able to do big come back with chunky RD.. which is low, homing and it's way quicker then before. Conclusion: MMSwe obviously, he overreacted... But he got some points on that. Law speed, poke potential,with better RD can be really deadly... Time will show to us(?)

Overall though, I think Law finally has what a rage drive is supposed to do. Its supposed to give you a shot at making a comeback. Law didn't really have that option before from his rage drive.

Instead of just laughing at everything he said, actually try saying something to counter argue? Just because he couldn't land it every time he tried, that means it doesn't have long reach? He showed that you can get it from pretty far away. That's the point. Devil Jin's rage drive is a launcher but the first low has no where near Law's rage drive range. Secondly, Law's gets free mids because every time he's next to you, you have to now worry about his strong low when he's in range drive. He didn't have that before. That's a huge change to Law's game plan which goes in his favor more. If he now gets all those free mids, what does he lose if I manage to block his unseeable low? Nothing. He still doesn't lose anything after he got all those free mids.
You can't help but laugh at his "Perfect low" and "infinite range" comments though. It has good range but TMM literally missed it twice when he was trying to demonstrate range. You know what a perfect low is? A low that's +7 on block and launches on hit. "Secondly, Law's gets free mids because every time he's next to you, you have to now worry about his strong low when he's in range drive." That's also a problem with Kazuya and so many others. With Kazuya, people eat so many hellsweep because they're afraid to duck and get hit by his range drive. That's not a problem unique to Law. "what does he lose if I manage to block his unseeable low? Nothing." That's why you don't block it. You low parry it.

Law's gameplan is much more versatile than at least kazuya. So, comparing law's new low to Kazuya's hellsweep (which you get a chunky launch if you block), is not really fair. Because law still has everything else that he has. A reliable, really long range, 14 frames launcher with just 3 + 4 no movement input involved. He has a strong magic 4 and a million other things and then he doesn't get to have kazuya's mixup thing too.

At this point in TEKKEN...imo you can only master one character. You can play others but never as good as the one for you.... seen it too many times... prove me wrong!

But TBH Law deserve to has something, at last.
In other hand, Law is specific character, with big potential to rush down opponents.
So it's hard to keep him balanced in that way. Because not only he can rush you to the end, but also, he can be able to do big come back with chunky RD.. which is low, homing and it's way quicker then before.
Conclusion: MMSwe obviously, he overreacted... But he got some points on that.
Law speed, poke potential,with better RD can be really deadly... Time will show to us(?)
He definitely makes some good points. "infinite range" and "perfect low" are a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit of a stretch though. Overall though, I think Law finally has what a rage drive is supposed to do. Its supposed to give you a shot at making a comeback. Law didn't really have that option before from his rage drive.

Instead of just laughing at everything he said, actually try saying something to counter argue? Just because he couldn't land it every time he tried, that means it doesn't have long reach? He showed that you can get it from pretty far away. That's the point. Devil Jin's rage drive is a launcher but the first low has no where near Law's rage drive range. Secondly, Law's gets free mids because every time he's next to you, you have to now worry about his strong low when he's in range drive. He didn't have that before. That's a huge change to Law's game plan which goes in his favor more. If he now gets all those free mids, what does he lose if I manage to block his unseeable low? Nothing. He still doesn't lose anything after he got all those free mids.
You can't help but laugh at his "Perfect low" and "infinite range" comments though. It has good range but TMM literally missed it twice when he was trying to demonstrate range. You know what a perfect low is? A low that's +7 on block and launches on hit.

That's also a problem with Kazuya and so many others. With Kazuya, people eat so many hellsweep because they're afraid to duck and get hit by his range drive. That's not a problem unique to Law.

@@mazymetric8267 Kazuya doesn't have everything else that Law has. Kazuya's game plan is to have really strong mixup tools and nothing else. Law's gameplan is much more versatile than at least kazuya. So, comparing law's new low to Kazuya's hellsweep (which you get a chunky launch if you block), is not really fair. Because law still has everything else that he has. A reliable, really long range, 14 frames launcher with just 3 + 4 no movement input involved. He has a strong magic 4 and a million other things and then he doesn't get to have kazuya's mixup thing too.

some of the best lows? lmao, he only got good low pokes, and 1 slow launching low thats lunch punishable and ONLY accessible from a back turn, wich makes it trash, so he only got 2 good low pokes (down 4 wich is neutral on hit, and down back 3 wich is punishable)
