Before I had the misfortune of enduring Adam Alexander, Mike King, Marty Ried, & Vince Welch, I would have strongly disagreed with you. Bill sure had his share of gaffes from 04-06, but he was a great pit reporter, has a natural hosting ability, and is better than most current NASCAR broadcast hosts.
Z D Nascarperson I think someone in the NBC control room had a bit too much on Friday night and left the crowd noises from one part of the track in. It sounds cool on the last lap though.

I hear that too. It sounds like someone left an audio device on while this was recording and it blended the outside audio onto the recording
I miss bill weber as booth announcer on NBC I hope they bring back bill weber when NASCAR comes back to NBC in 2015
