You are probably correct, I am just a DIY mechanic and she appears like she knows more than me about mechanical work. However don't you need to torque down any nuts and bolts on a motor cycle. I have watched some of her other videos and have noted that very few spring washers have been used, and how strong she is, and never has too much trouble removing old rust nuts and bolts. I have been watching Linguoer for a couple of years, and I think she is amazing. I really like the color pallet she chooses for her many different jobs she completes. She does many repairs for family and friends in her community but you know the project is for her to keep when the color chosen is Pink.
Good work but don't drive it in rain since the front tire is mounted in wrong direction so instead of moving water to the sides it move the water to the middle of the tire and it will start hydroplaning easy.
That was the first thing I noticed. I have a Chinese scooter that has smaller tires but they're mounted the same way. The grooves always face Forward on those types of tires. It has to be fixed anyway because it won't work correctly. Basically it's going against the grain right now, which will cause excessive tire wear.
I have a Piaggio MP3 scooter with exactly the same tread pattern (tyres made by Michelin) mounted on both front wheels as Linguoer has them. And the direction arrow (labelled front) is correct for the direction of travel. I'd rather trust the tyre manufacturer when it comes to the correct way of fitment - its why they put direction markers on in the first place.
@@bertiesworld Michelin make good tyres. Now, put some paint on a part of it and roll it in the direction of the mark and you can notice that the mark on the floor is poining backward, eg. the paťtern hit the center first and push the water out to the sides.
She got dirty from taking it apart and putting it back together and I think she is simply an amazing woman there's not many people who take pride or the time it takes to what is necessary to make things look 100% better than they were let alone do or make something even new things with the proper time and patience that she has. I know young people an old alike that would only do a halfway job to just get it done. So my hat's off to her for what she does. nice job lady! very impressive! we have same job, i also restore bikes old and newer ones, from engine overhaul to wirings to chassis and fairings, single cylinders to v2, v4's and inline4's. good job making the engine the first priority when you dismantled the bike, then the electricals. only difference is the painting method, i'm a bit more detailed on paint jobs, i remove all stickers and use urethane only primers to paints to clear coat. keep up the good work, you have lots of knowledge to share.

I'm always fascinated by her work. As a long time restorer of motorcycles, cars, outboards, lawnmowers, etc. etc. I can appreciate her knowledge and strength! That motorcycle engine wasn't light! A couple of issues. The rust on the crankshaft and connecting rod could indicate big end and crankshaft bearing issues. To be sure she should have split the cases and at least inspected them for pitting on balls/rollers and races. As a general observation, I've watch many of her videos and she works bare handed with parts cleaner which is probably some hydrocarbon. This will damage her skin (if it dissolves grease it will dissolve skin oils) and could cause cancer. Wear a some gloves to protect yourself.
The lady is very clever and actually that is a high performance bike as the wheels are of the quick change type, I have seen this type of bike raced on the Road Circuits at Dundrod and Portrush.
Lin, the front tire is on backward. That is a directional tire for control in the water or wet conditions and because it is on backward, it may make the bike get squirrelly if the roads are wet. Great work on the motorcycle. If you are interested in talking, I would like to hear more about your projects.
She also painted the brake rotor. I hope no one rides it because the front brake will fail after 2 or three uses. Plus the bearings in the case were never cleaned after sitting in water forever so they will fail also.
Bravo for your first MotorCycle repair. Your insulation of the wiring reminded me of my times fixing harnesses on 1960-70's Austin Healy Lucus electrical nightmares.

Freaking Walmart did that to all 4 tires I bought and they mounted / balanced..

nice job lady! very impressive! we have same job, i also restore bikes old and newer ones, from engine overhaul to wirings to chassis and fairings, single cylinders to v2, v4's and inline4's. good job making the engine the first priority when you dismantled the bike, then the electricals. only difference is the painting method, i'm a bit more detailed on paint jobs, i remove all stickers and use urethane only primers to paints to clear coat. keep up the good work, you have lots of knowledge to share.

I'm always fascinated by her work. As a long time restorer of motorcycles, cars, outboards, lawnmowers, etc. etc. I can appreciate her knowledge and strength! That motorcycle engine wasn't light! A couple of issues. The rust on the crankshaft and connecting rod could indicate big end and crankshaft bearing issues. To be sure she should have split the cases and at least inspected them for pitting on balls/rollers and races. As a general observation, I've watch many of her videos and she works bare handed with parts cleaner which is probably some hydrocarbon. This will damage her skin (if it dissolves grease it will dissolve skin oils) and could cause cancer. Wear a some gloves to protect yourself.
At least she wears gloves when paint stripper.

Lin, the front tire is on backward. That is a directional tire for control in the water or wet conditions and because it is on backward, it may make the bike get squirrelly if the roads are wet. Great work on the motorcycle. If you are interested in talking, I would like to hear more about your projects.

She also painted the brake rotor. I hope no one rides it because the front brake will fail after 2 or three uses. Plus the bearings in the case were never cleaned after sitting in water forever so they will fail also.
