For lower leveled players when he goes into final phase you can do 1 step method. Everytime he goes “skree” take one step back and hit. “Skree”One step back and hit etc. if you run out of room resort back to running two tiles to the side and hit. much easier when it takes longer to kill
@Capybarainahumansuit it’s 100% a gear issue. I’m very close to max combat stats on my iron besides 82 pray, but without a bludgeon or better this boss is pretty difficult to out dps. The fight itself isn’t hard, but if your gear is ass it becomes hard.
@@Shiestey ursine chain mace (7m) works great at relatively low cost. I get 3 kill trips with bandos gear, thralls, divine pots. It’s not 7-8 kill trips like the scythe users but it works easily. Yall might be taking to much unnecessary damage during the fight. It’s easy to take damage if you don’t know what to look for. Also having arrax positioned towards the wall giving you a long path for the 1 step method helps.
said i can purchase long rope at the general store, didnt remind me that i needed the vyrewatch kit so had to run back, then got there with 100k as said they were 50k each, rope was 52k. nice one. ran back again lmfao
A heavy ballista also one shots the small spiders and particularly for the mirror back, doing so doesn't reflect any damage. So a heavy ballista is really worth it for almost anyone. Edit: To clarify, you need rigour and a divine ranging potion, but you don't need an armour swap or anything else.
@@JarroneWindsorYou need to use rigour and sip a divine ranging potion to one shot the reflector spiders. Not sure if you can one shot the green spiders without another switch though since I've been taking a Quiver.
@@JarroneWindsor if you’re two-hitting as your range level is too low then you should use the new upgraded hunter crossbow from varlamore (I forget the name) as it has a faster firing rate but still is classed as a heavy ammo crossbow.
This boss is not worth all those slayer points at all, the best item it drops is worth 75m now and it's rare. it's not a raid with a new bis mega rare. don't feel left out no1 is making huge cash from this boss.

You can use heavy ballista with dragon javelins to kill mirrorback spider. Just shoot it once and go back to the boss. I don’t bring a range switch or pray rigour or use range potions. Doing this doesnt one shot it but it leaves it very low and it dies quickly. All these methods of using rigour and ranging potions or venging is sweaty for no reason. It aint that deep. If you want to be super sweat so you do perfect kills, good for you.
Also for lower level players having problems with chip damage. Get a heavy ballista with dragon javelins and Ava switch. Range pot and vigor. When a spider comes out switch and one shot the spider. Red spiders just lure under arrax per usual. Trust the 2 food you lose makes up for the chip damage you take especially for multiple kill trips.
As a note, in his final phase, his attack does have a range of 2. This doesn’t mean he’ll hit a 2x3, it just means he can still target you with melee if you’re one step out of range when he tries to attack.
I think the destroy for extra pet roll should only apply if you’ve ~50% of the monsters drop table and Jagex should apply this to all bosses. Thanks for the excellent breakdown of this boss haven’t watched your stuff for a while

I am maxed lv and it's a gear issue. I have to do both to finish him. Just running around him isn't enough to kill him

Just use elder maul wack on the green for 1 hit and take the damage from the white.

For p3 you can also step 1 back arraxor will follow you, hit you, you can hit then step 1 back again to avoid the acid pools. Takes a bit of practice
