Good job !! I worked 19 years with just me and another guy who didnt know anything about concrete at the beginning but ended up being a good finisher !! And showed up everyday !!
It’s nice to see a local guy doing this. I’m her in Verona NY. Your great at explaining what’s going on an funny to. Big biscuit has a Greg sense of humor . Keep up the great work. Henry building and remodel
My uncle owns an outfit up in Watertown New York. Sounds like y'all's accent is from around that area lol. Poured plenty of concrete up there in the summertime. Hottest pour ever was at the Syracuse zoo. It was in the 90s with 12 ft walls no air movement down there for that slab we had some real rugged individuals hitting their knees that day
Good to know that sometimes it still is chunky if you remove the wood moulding. Just work it with the trowel again and it will force the water back on the surface and make a smooth finish.
@@bondobuilt386 thats the keen experienced eye on the clock and the mud!! I used some on a 13 yard 1100ish sqft pool deck! Crawled hand finish for exposed agg and really brings it back to life! I'm curious it would affect release agent or color for stamps
Are most concrete tools magnesium or is it a speciality tool group that povides a certain finish method? As always I am enjoying the videos. Take cool out there.
The magnesium trowels are for the beginning work to set the stones. Also when doing exterior slabs or walkways use the mag tools as it won't seal the surface as much.
hey boss done it very hot, road screed, handicap sidewalks, yes Texas 108 degrees portable batch plant inspector for sub developments 1980s one guy collapsed died helicopter come got him, real hot 125 cutting them relief cuts , sprinkles on the sand and rock prevent flash set, here is comment request , me and my son now do hmmmmm what u think hmmmmm , thxs for the good times
Like how you explain everything for us don't have a clue people.
That's a real good looking walkway thumbs up and shared. :)
Very nice! The brown color seemed to have worked quite well from the usual grey fits into the environment better.
Nice job! Thank you for your video.
Where are you guys out of, and I like the chimney blocks
As a Carpenter myself be glad you have some help right now. The devil wouldnt take my soul for a extra helper if i offered.
That big arched sidewalk really turned out nice👍

You can never go wrong with the picture frame pattern. Good looking work and great video!
Enjoy ever video you put out. Nice to see a crew that works good together
Looking to have a pole barn poured. Still have not found someone. Hope when I find one they are as detailed as you.
Agreed. Broom finish looks way better than stamp concrete

nice & flat. clean sharp lines, well done
Need to edge the bottom board on your step it will look better
Great to see you put up the plastic, nothing worse than splatter on the stuff that isn't supposed to have mud on it.
Bondo, Biscuit & Tuna…… what a trio! Good job Men. What’s the average pitch on pours like that ?
Thanks uncle Jim. It all depends on the lay of the land for the pitch something buddy.
Good Job Fellas!

@@bondobuilt386 concrete is all about esthetics 😊
@@SinnisjInsulator yes it is. 😊
Excellent as usual!! You ever use a finishing aid like day 1 or eucobar?? Its a floor saver on a hot day!!
I just got a bucket from the concrete company. Have not tried it yet though.

@@TylerNieves-ty7ns I dont think it effects the color I have been told. I am gonna keep it in my truck.
Biscuit, grab that hat and throw it in the wood burner when he isn't looking. Great job as always!
Ha. I burned it Tom. Lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nice
깔끔하네요!
(Cool!)
Looks awesome! Did you dowel into the house when doing the step or no need? Thanks!
No we didn’t dowel it in. No need to. 👍
I like dark gray color powder, not sure I am sold on brown.
on a hotpour day like this do you pay the helpers for a full day?

Do you guys always cut your joints ?
No sometimes we tool them in as we did in this video. LOL
why do you picture frame it?
Just for that look.
Did the wood form work cost as much as the concrete? 😂
We've been over 90 for a long time, 98 tomorrow. Every pour is a battle
I hate pouring in the heat. Gets your blood pumping though. LOL
