That Incident between Xhaka and TAA changed the game. The home crowd found their voice. before that it was like a graveyard you could even hear the Arsenal fans in the Stadium But the actual turning point was that they scored immediately after the Incident. If they didn't score, it would've been a different game. It's almost like the crowd were rewarded for raising their voices

Xhaka (pissed off) lunged at trent. Trent pushed him. They square up Ref books both players. Arsenal Fans (Trying to back Granit Xhaka): "Granit Xhaka we've got!!!" Liverpool fans and Players: "What Granit Xhaka....C'mon let's back this thing!!!" If we lose the league, we will lose it on the over-reliance of Mikel Arteta on Odegaard, Saka, and Zinchenko. If they don't look up to it, they need to be replaced. No question about it. Saka has to be injured for Arteta to sub him out. Odegaard was invisible for the large majority of this game and was removed too late. Zinchenko was responsible for both goals. HE NEEDS TO BE DROPPED.
I only got to watch the second half and I wish I hadn't... I was crying out loud for Arteta to make some substitutes, seeing that conceding the second goal seemed inevitable. Liverpool were missing chance after chance dominating us in all fronts and our egoist manager wants to outmanage Klopp who's done all of that multiple times in the past! We should have dropped Saka/Xhaka and brought in some defensive reinforcements like Tierney/Kiwior or even Jorginho after that penalty miss from Salah. How we managed to miss that chance at the end is beyond me. Hopefully City will miss some points, so that even a loss at the Etihad won't cost us the title. Cheers 👋

Zinchenko dealt well with Salah admittedly, but he couldn’t cope with an under-performing Alexander-Arnold when he bombed forward for Liverpool. Can agree with hooking off Odegaard as it was his worst display for us ever but why was Jesus taken off? He was our only attacker who didn’t tire, great going forward but didn’t have the support & he was helping out at the back. Saka was shocking today (also by far his worst display in our jersey) & should’ve been hooked off for Trossard (and earlier too!). Martinelli burned out after half an hour, shouldn’t have been on the pitch afterwards. It was a coin between him and Saka of who goes off for Trossard, not Jesus. Why bring on Kiwior for Odegaard & not Jorginho? Xhaka needed hooking off too after he lost his head, put Tierney on for him & shove Tierney to left back then move Zinchenko into midfield. Simple!

I'll pick out an individual, granite xhaka or his alter ego SuperShak, We're in control, if SuperShak moves away from arnold, there's no drama, no tension, he doesn't get booked. The one guy you should rely on for composure because of his maturity fires the liverpool players & fans up. You could've heard a pin drop at 2 nil, so much for anfield moments right. Here's a thought for Lee and others I'd be interested in seeing your opinions about. I think Arteta has a ready-made solution to switch to a back 5 that to memory he's never used. Back at the start of his reign when Maitland-Niles or Saka was used as a LWB, he used Tierney as a LCB in a back 3. Then on the ball, the LWB moved into midfield and Tierney rotated to LB in a 4. Why not do the same with Zinchenko and Tierney and put him on instead of Kiwior? You can get both on the field at the same time, Tierney can help Zinchenko defensively and you don't have to sacrifice Zinchenko's quality on the ball to switch to a back 5. As much as I'll back Zinny's qualities on the ball, it doesn't make sense to me he hasn't been willing to use both when a clear opportunity is available.
Reaction from the bench was slow. Just when we lost control of the game Tierney should have come in. Zinchenko is only good when we have the control of the game. That was not the case in the 2nd half. I would have brought in Trossard for Saka and kept Jesus. I also think Ordegaard should have stayed. At the end it could have gone anywhere, lucky to pick a point there given how poor the 2nd half was.

City are definitely clear favourites for the title now. Those odds will remain this way unless Arsenal beat City at the Etihad. Their remaining fixtures are a lot more kind on paper, but when you really break it down and compare their fixture's to Arsenal's and consider the state of the season for the teams we're playing, it only gets scarier. City are playing teams at times when they're most likely on the beach as their season will be over, whilst arsenal play their teams at important stages of the season (fighting to avoid relegation, for european places etc). Chelsea will be looking to end Arsenal's title hopes like they did to Spurs back when Leicester won the league, but will probably spread their legs for City as that game doesn't have meaning for them. I think odds makers call this "season state", and you can see why all odds makers have now made city out and out favourites. If Arsenal win the league, my god will they deserve it...

Yeah Zinny is good when Arsenal's midfield dominates the matches but when pressure is on, teams tend to expose his lack of pace and stamina. I also think this game screamed out for Jorginho's calmness in midfield and Trossard's intelligent positioning.
Lee is spot on with this. Subs should have been made earlier. Trossard should have came on for saka instead of Jesus because saka was shocking. Once it became clear how much salah was enjoying our left side Tierney should have come on at halftime. This was three points dropped due to arteta
We were doing well until 30 min. That’s when Jesus and Xakha decided to start diving. We started to get yellow cards scuffles broke out and we lost composure and momentum. Jesus should have come off half time he was shocking.

Watched the second half in San Antonio Arsenal supporters club . Painful to be honest. They where there for the taking in my opinion. Just hope city slip up somewhere

We may be disappointed that we didnt win after leading 2:0 but it is still a well earned point, sometimes that's all you can take and move on.

They aren’t very good but somehow have only conceded 9 goals at home this season ( 2 from us) they trash United and beat City without allowing them to score. People need some perspective.

I BLAME ARTETA...YES..if you watch that game you will see the players were passionless & this back passing from the back kills the attack and when i see the players not playing with urgency and the manager is just watching them feeling sorry for a weak Liverpool team that was there to be destroyed showed how scared Arteta is of certain teams..I have said it time after time that Arteta lacks a plan B, C, D...And what happen to Zchenko says it all..Arteta will always favor the so called inverted full backs against the traditional lb or rb...Arteta for once be flexible and change tactics..Saka was crap today and should be benched and from what I have seen.. You clearly haven't watch the game in its entirety coz he did a lot of the donkey work (with Partey) and created the second chance for Martinelli. The same can't be said for burn out Saka, or the missing in action Odegaard or Zinchenko's exposed lack of pace and defensive frailties when faced with pacey Salah and or trickey A. Trent.

Here's a thought for Lee and others I'd be interested in seeing your opinions about. I think Arteta has a ready-made solution to switch to a back 5 that to memory he's never used. Back at the start of his reign when Maitland-Niles or Saka was used as a LWB, he used Tierney as a LCB in a back 3. Then on the ball, the LWB moved into midfield and Tierney rotated to LB in a 4. Why not do the same with Zinchenko and Tierney and put him on instead of Kiwior? You can get both on the field at the same time, Tierney can help Zinchenko defensively and you don't have to sacrifice Zinchenko's quality on the ball to switch to a back 5. As much as I'll back Zinny's qualities on the ball, it doesn't make sense to me he hasn't been willing to use both when a clear opportunity is available.

Reaction from the bench was slow. Just when we lost control of the game Tierney should have come in. Zinchenko is only good when we have the control of the game. That was not the case in the 2nd half. I would have brought in Trossard for Saka and kept Jesus. I also think Ordegaard should have stayed. At the end it could have gone anywhere, lucky to pick a point there given how poor the 2nd half was.
I was screaming for these subs at 60-65 min bc we couldn’t get out our own half, we needed those subs early

City are definitely clear favourites for the title now. Those odds will remain this way unless Arsenal beat City at the Etihad. Their remaining fixtures are a lot more kind on paper, but when you really break it down and compare their fixture's to Arsenal's and consider the state of the season for the teams we're playing, it only gets scarier. City are playing teams at times when they're most likely on the beach as their season will be over, whilst arsenal play their teams at important stages of the season (fighting to avoid relegation, for european places etc). Chelsea will be looking to end Arsenal's title hopes like they did to Spurs back when Leicester won the league, but will probably spread their legs for City as that game doesn't have meaning for them. I think odds makers call this "season state", and you can see why all odds makers have now made city out and out favourites. If Arsenal win the league, my god will they deserve it...

Yeah Zinny is good when Arsenal's midfield dominates the matches but when pressure is on, teams tend to expose his lack of pace and stamina. I also think this game screamed out for Jorginho's calmness in midfield and Trossard's intelligent positioning.
Lee is spot on with this. Subs should have been made earlier. Trossard should have came on for saka instead of Jesus because saka was shocking. Once it became clear how much salah was enjoying our left side Tierney should have come on at halftime. This was three points dropped due to arteta
We were doing well until 30 min. That’s when Jesus and Xakha decided to start diving. We started to get yellow cards scuffles broke out and we lost composure and momentum. Jesus should have come off half time he was shocking.
